Georgia may not make it, but here are five other former Communist states that have joined NATO

Georgia wanted to join NATO (hopes that appear nearly extinguished). Here are five other formerly Communist countries that have joined the Atlantic alliance. (Tomorrow: five more.)

1. Bulgaria

2. Czech Republic

3. Estonia

4. Hungary

5. Latvia

In addition to 5 countries listed there is a two more Romania and Poland.
