What business is it of the public, the media, and the gossip hungry where someone
puts his little pee-pee. Men have always, and always will have sex both in and out
of "wedded bliss" - testosterone is an innate characteristic; monogamy is a contrivance
of society and helps corporations fuel the need for products they make for profit.
I am in favor of family life, have five children from a marriage that lasted until the
death of my good husband. At 80 years of age, I know what is important - sex between
consenting adults is NOT.

Tabloid fodder - not a news story
War in Iraq still going on last I heard, Presidential election (and John Edwards is NOT one of the candidates - he is a PRIVATE citizen) - a war breaking out in Russia, an unstable economy here at home and what are the media shoving down the throats of the citizens of the United States?
This NON-STORY which has zero affect on our lives.
The media is NOT doing its job. Big surprise.
I lost faith in the media a long time ago - things like this only reinforce my believe that the long ago esteemed fourth estate is now nothing but a prostitute.

The New York TImes printed a story shortly after McCain locked up the Republican nomination alleging McCain had engaged in a relationship with a young blond lobbyist, Vicki Iseman, eight years ago.

The Times waited until Edwards admitted his affair.
As for Edwards, his behavior, lying about an affair that was ongoing while he ran for president, goes towards the issue of character.
To some, evidently character is no longer factor in determining who they'll vote for.

In the past people would say Queen Victoria had no legs, and she kept them covered, it would have been scandalous if anyone saw them. Why do we expect our leaders to be not like other men? To have an artificial perfection? Understanding the human condition and tolerance is needed to represent the people. Having sex has nothing to do with running the country well. His extramarital affair has nothing to do with me, nothing to do with administrative ability nor, for that matter, do his church going habits, views on legal alternative lifestyles or if he picks his nose.Government isn't a pastoral organization. Let’s judge people by how they do the job not whether their lives match up to what we would like ours to be. Ability and integrity in office should be enough. We don’t get good leaders by forcing them to suck up to an electorates personal lifestyle issues.

only a rag like the enquirer would print this story. why hasn't the media reported john macain's treatment of his exwife, a very classy woman. He was cheating on the woman who stayed with him when he was a war prisoner, when he ran for office, then he starts cheating on her, and gives her divorse papers while she is laying in a hospital bed after surgery due to a very serious car accident. as far as his military experience goes he was a prisoner of war longer longer than an active pilot, although he did serve longer than the president.

There are two people running for president; the ecomomy is in the toilet; we are fighting wars in two places and Russia invaded another country yesterday. That is the news we needed to hear about yesterday, (Aug.8), not hours and hours of talk about a private citizen's sleazy affair.
