OBAMA PICKS MC CAIN AS RUNNING MATE!!

THat's right OBAMA PICKS MC CAIN AS RUNNING MATE!

DREAM TICKET!

Obama

His present lead in the polls will shrink to zero by election time and the race will be so close that it will be contested in many states. In the silence of the voting booth the still small voice question "A black man for president?" could defeat him.

Obama vs. McCain

McCain may have shown character as a prisoner of North Vietnam but Cowardice to finish raising his first family. His first wife and 3 kids were helped by the Reagans and Ed Meese while in the words of his first ex " John just wanted to be 24 years old again at 42" McCain has a short fuse and bad temper. Not presidential timber. And I am a Kennedy Carter and Reagan man. Cool heads must prevail

Obama raised in Hawaii could repair relationships with most foreign countries because he treats others with civility and resprect. Probably neither could control the oil robber barons or Fed power complex Republican or Democrat but Obama could, like Reagan make us proud of ourselves again. Internally he seems a man like Rodney King who after beaten by So. Calif copys on videotape said "Can't we all just get along" Here in Hawaii where Obama partly raised we do just this though not necessarily liking each other as groups. But we live on an island. And the world is an island where in 28 countries I've found person to person we can get along if we try.

Presidents and the economy

Yes! Where is Ross Perot when you need him? Remember his warning about the "giant sucking sound" that would take all the jobs to Mexico? Need I say more?

Obama

He is absolutely the most and best prepared to handle the situations at hand......His perceptions of what needs to be done to bale this country out of this mess are not read from a tele-prompter as the worst of the republicans are trying to imply.....He is head and shoulders above all the rest in so many ways......We should be complimented that someone like him wants the job of President....It will not be an easy task......

I find him extremely sophisticated & charming & has a fantastic family..........

Obama vs Mccain

McCain is the best for this country. Obama has no experience and he has done nothing as a Senator. The only recommendation so Senator McCain is: Why are you waiting so long to name your Vice President?. Obama is a great talker and he tells people what they want to hear and they fall for it.

Presidents and the Economy

I would vote for "none of the above" if it were offered on the ballot. Obama doesn't have the experience and panders to voters, McCain is, well, just too old and lacks economic knowledge.

As fa as Lenore Berzanske's comments "Most of the people in this country earning under $50,000 that also have two or more children are probably paying little if any income tax at the present time" I don't think she lives in the poor section of town.

I live in New York, married, 1 child and make $56,000 a year. The Feds are happy taking $6000 of it, New York State, County Govenment and our school district take the rest!

Mandated programs that "We the People" pay for should be put on the ballots in all voting districts with choices of how much the taxpayers are willing to spend on them. I for one do not like to see my taxes as high as they are due to state or federal mandates. If we can vote down school budgets, then we should be able to vote down mandates. This will cause politicians to become accountable for our money rather than apoligetic for where it goes.

Where is Ross Perot?

Obama vs. McCain

Obama's resume' is distressingly brief. Obama has been in national office for not quite four years, and he's been running for president most of that time. He is blandiloquent almost to a fault. Surely, more of a track record should be expected for someone in the Oval Office? Has this electorate gone looney?

Is all this about electing an affirmative action president, let's draft Colin Powell. Then, I would be much more at ease.

prefer Obama or McCain?

Obama is only the presumptive Democratic nominee at this point. Huge numbers of Americans are working intensively to insure that he is not the Democratic nominee by the end of the convention in August. Please keep this in mind as you write articles about the presidential campaign.

Presidents and the Economy

Only know that historically when a Democrat is president wages are higher, unemployment is lower, borrowing is cheaper, the stock market goes up more, it is cheaper to borrow and the budget deficit is nearly 1/2 of what it is when the president is a Republican.

These were facts from a Marketwatch article a few days ago. Cannot believe that this a coincidence,
