JUST AN AVERAGE AMERICAN

DEAR FUTURE PRESIDENT

I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE THE ONE THAT WILL WIN JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE THE WISDOM. PEOPLE SAY YOU ARE OLD BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT OLDER PEOPLE HAVE THE WISDOM.

I LISTENED TO THE DEBATE TONIGHT AND YOU WON!

LET'S SEE WHAT THE MEDIA SAYS. I KNOW WHAT I HEARD. EVERYTHING YOU SAD WAS RIGHT. OBAMAMZ SAID ALOT OF RIGHT THINGS TOO. BUT NOT WITH YOUR WISDOM AND KNOWLDGE.

REMEMBRR - I AM JUST AN AVERAGE AMERICAN.

McCain-Palin 2008

Sarah Palin, the conservative Governor of Alaska is pro-life, a mother of five, an NRA member and would be the only executive amongst the three other Senators.

Her youngest child was born with down syndrome which was diagnosed during pregnancy.

Its one thing to say your pro-life, but Sarah Palin not only talks the talk but walks the walk.

I'm always worried about all of those springs and flywheels popping out at the wrong time with Mitt Robot.

Stay close to your roots.

"If all things are rooted in the love of God, they cannot fail." Mitt Romney's courageous stand on his faith showed America where his roots lie. My opening statement speaks for itself.

Romney for VP

I am elated at the possibility od Romney being McCain's VP. He's a real boost for the economy!!Then the ticket would be balanced. Romney is charming, handsome, and smart. I am a retired teacher. I have had a number of Mormon students. They and their families were among the best I ever had. I don't think his Mormon religion should be a concern at all!

Hillary Supporters will bolt McCain with a McCain-Romney Ticket

I am a moderate independent. I was a Hillary supporter. She is a proven problem solver in the Senate. With her gone, I respect and support McCain. He is also a real problem solver in the Senate and has proven himself to be an honorable leader. Obama has rhetoric impressive rhetoric, but no real accomplishments. I think he needs to prove himself to be a leader before running for the top job.

However, McCain is 71 years old. It matters who he picks for VP. Romney was a terrible Governor and in my opinion, disingenuous and an embarrassment to the state. All he did while Governor was to run for President. He could not have been re-elected in Massachusetts and had to deceive the public to get elected the first time; he ran as a fiscal conservative, social moderate, like William Weld. He quickly changed his tune to set up his Presidential run. He has shown that he will say whatever it takes to get elected. I would abandon McCain immediately if he picks Romney. A Romney presidency is simply unacceptable.

No Brainer

Please this is a no brainer when I comes down to picking our V.P Mitt Romney is are guy. Mitt is the most qualified man who has success in getting things done

Politico.com poll is correct!

Sarah Palin will "become" well known, but unfortunately for her, this is NOT the time to experiment with a presidential election. Politico.com poll is absolutely correct! Gov. Romney is the only sensible choice to balance out Sen. McCain. Romney has been thoroughly vetted by the liberal "drive-by" mainstream (using that word loosely) media, and GOP voters alike.

Look folks! This election IS to be taken seriously! McCain (if he is to actually win) needs someone who can articulate what he himself professes is NOT his strong suit, i.e., the economic and like issues of the day, in this down-turn economy. That IS Mitt Romney's strong suit...(For further evidence, please review Romney's association with Bain Capital, the 2002 Winter Olympics, his autobiography "Turnaround," and conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt's excellent publication, "A Mormon in the White House?" And, the December 2007/January 2008 monthly magazine "NATIONAL REVIEW" where they endorsed Romney for president, for starters.)

It is absolutely true that many, many conservatives do not have the "Reagan" thrill about the top of the ticket as they have in the past several years. However, IF conservatives actually stand a chance of winning in November, WE desperately need to bring back the conservative voters. Whether you love or loath the following individuals, i.e., the Ann Coulters, the Rush Limbaugh's, the Sean Hannity's, the Lars Larsons, the Laura Ingrahams, the Mark Levin's of conservative talk radio, they do have one thing... OVER 10 MILLION LISTENERS. Think about that!

Do we want these fine individuals to once again get excited about the 2008 GOP ticket...Add Romney to the VP spot...As we KNEW oil prices WOULD in fact FALL just by simply announcing we will start drilling here, and when President Bush repealed the executive order, oil dropped $18.00 per barrel.

The parallel here is this: Sen. McCain's first true test of presidential leadership will be when he announces that former Gov Mitt Romney will be his running mate...watch and see how FAST those fine conservative radio talk show hosts that mine over 10 million listeners will once again be excited about the 2008 presidential ticket. I can assure you of this like the speculation price of a barrel of oil....each have a genuine cause and effect relationship. Bush announces...oil DROPS! McCain announces Romney....conservatives elated!!! Mark my words! For further info...check out unitethegop.com. Thanks for listening!

Mitt Romney and religion

Frankly, it disgusts me that anyone could make the stupid statement that if Mitt Romney is a Morman he is "clearly not functioning above the shoulders." Even the internet should have limits on idiotic comments. The liberals' much loved Harry Reid is a Morman, and I haven't seen any uprising against his 'functioning above the shoulders."

Love Romney or dislike him, but at least let it be on some intelligent rationale and not for religious intolerance.

Sarah Palin Governor of Alaska

Sarah Palin is the one! McCain needs to take a risk and can't afford a "safe" pick for VP. She is a true conservative. Extremely well liked in her state. Mother of 5 children, she is staunchly Pro-Life. ( She recently gave birth to a son knowing he had Down's Syndrome) She is also , pro-hunting, Pro-Gun, ( NRA member), Pro-Anwar drilling. Like McCain, she took on special interests in her state. Although I like where she stands on the issues, I think she could really appeal to women voters. Specifically, the disaffected Hillary supporters. The Oprah crowd. Men would love her too. Franky, she is very good looking. Not the typically male straight laced suited Republican the Dems were hoping for. She can really bring new life to the campaign.

What the 2009 Elections Tell Us About 2010

By Tom Davis

Seven lessons the parties need to learn from Tuesday's races.

The 2009 off-year elections in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York's 23d Congressional District offer a small snapshot of the current views and motivations of the American electorate. While there may be a desire to extrapolate the events of Nov. 3, 2009 into a prediction of what will happen on Nov. 2, 2010, that is impossible.
