Mc-Cain to Face the Republican Firing Squad

Charlie Black has given up on Insane McCain, the Podhrentz Neo-Con puppet.

Terror Attack

Overall...sad but true. If the attack can be directly linked to either a group, country or individual, then we would have to attack in response. But, if it is a situation, like Iraq, where there are no links, then bad for the Republicans.

Charlie Black

Since it appears that American politicians should never tell the truth if it creates a PR problem it was ipso facto unwise for Charlie to say what he did. Of course he was totally accurate and that may well be the reason there have been no attacks lately. .Obviously the terrorists will be far better off if Obama wins - especially with a Democratic Congress to abet and support his naivety.

Depends on the nature of the attack, I would say. If it is attributable to bin Laden, then McCain might be in the doghouse for supporting the Bush policy of ignoring bin Laden and draining all our resources on the Iraq fiasco. If there are a series of attacks from terrorists entering from Mexico, then I would think McCain would get more heat as he is more openly corrupt on illegal entry and more dogmatic and rigid than Obama.

If we are attacked by Iranian terrorists, then Obama loses for being soft on Iran.

Black was correct

If it's bad for America, it's good for the GOP!

Charlie Black

Charlie Black's statement was BOTH the truth and a flub. It was true, but it also gave the mainstream media (MSM) and the PC liberals another cudgel with which to beat John McCain about the head and shoulders for supposedly making political capital out of a serious danger to the nation. Which required McCain to publicly disavow Black's statement (whether he privately agreed with it or not). People who agree with Black don't need to be reminded of the truth, and those (like the MSM and the PC liberals) who don't agree with him will not be convinced by such statements anyway. So why give them the opportunity to turn the statement against the candidate?

Charlie Black

He spoke the truth. The PC Democratic Party has a strong aversion to most truth.
