Time to put on our poker faces!

For some reason we seem to have forgotten how good we are at the game of poker. Perhaps it's time for us to call North Korea's bluff! Lets stop propping up Kims maniacal dreams, cut off all resources (including all types of aid, most of which has been going to maintain his huge army) Unfortunately the people will suffer but how much worse could it get? Lets see how long Russia and the Chinese can prop up his government without any other outside aid. Then lets up the ante by reminding him that with the acquisition of nuclear weapons they will join the exclusive club of Doomsday members in that any detected launch of a nuclear weapon will mean the automatic launching of enough missles from a variety of places around the world to ensure the total and complete destruction of the entire launching country! While we rarely mention it anymore this plan has been with us since the cold war and is still in effect, even if they were able to land a couple of bombs their total anihilation is insured. While we don't trumpet this anymmore it does still exist, something the other burgeoning nuclear powers should keep in mind. A "Dead Mans Hand Will Benefit No One!"

FOR MINDLESS MIKE !

Whatever happened in Iraq is not the problem of the day. Obama and/or our Wimpy Congress will do whatever they like. They are already doing it to us. It appears that Mike is saying that Obama and/or Congress is in almost the same position that Bush was in re. Iraq but that they won't have the guts to punish N. Korea.

Bye the way, I watched Obama on T.V. when he said of N. Korea after the Missile launch, "They will be punished." No mention has been heard since. I wonder who shut who up. The U.N. won't punish them. What do you think Obama will do, offer to negotiate some more?"

Korean Veyt

I am a Korean war veteran and when we left Korea I said we would be dealing with North Korea again in our lifetime. South Korea has built their country up again to unbelievable civilian proportions while North Korea has been rearming to unbelievable military proportions. Now that they have Nukes and rockets the whole world is in danger. Our world will soon come to an end when we leave this earth. Lets hope not our future generations with selfish nations bent on destruction of their world. God through his word tells us this world will end. Hope not with selfish nations nukes.

AS I SEE IT

Welcome to AS I SEE IT, by Mike "Mainer Mike" Brown, With The Most Comprehensive Commentary Your Day Can't Do Without.

The United States can say all it wants to North Korea, but there is little we can do.

The American public is so fed up with how things have panned out in Iraq that they would never give the green light to the government to attack, even though Pyongyang is a true threat.

Europe won't do anything about it either, as they don't want to get into the same mess the U.S. got itself into with the War on Terror.

And who knows about Russia and China.

North Korea's has us right where they want us, and they know it.

If only we hadn't attacked Iraq, who wasn't nearly as much of a threat as North Korea, the American people would be more willing to do something about this crisis.

Man, that George Bush was a terrible president, and we're going to continue to pay.

That's AS I SEE IT. I'm Mike "Mainer Mike" Brown.
