talking about varieties
the muslim variety?!
and you talk about ethnic cleansing.
did not know that people could be divided in varieties. how about the milosevic variety that killed thousands of people in the balkans during the '90s?
Ethnic Cleansing - but by whom?
Mark of XX: "...... Mr. Tadic is a son of ultra-nationalist Serbian academic and he is continuing implementation of the Serbian Academy strategies of ethnic cleansing."
What???
Here are the facts. Less than 10% of Kosovo's population are Christian Serbs. Over 90% are Albanians, mainly of the Muslim variety. That is the 'ethnic cleansing' which has gone on for quite some time, and it's not being 'implemented' by the Serbs.
“New Serbia” - false argument
"A new Serbia" that is democratic and led by people who opposed Slobodan Milosevic—into Europe, in part to "not leave a black hole" in the Continent...
This has is not true at all and Madam Minister is telling another untruthful fact as we all know that in ruling coalition is the Socialistic Party of Serbia (SPS) which is the notorious Milosevic party (created by him and having still as a honorable president since then). Ivica Dacic was a Milosevic right-hand and he is called as "Baby Milosevic".
In this regard, I don't know how Mrs. Bakoyannis is seeing the change in Serbia when there is no change at all. Mr. Tadic is a son of ultra-nationalist Serbian academic and he is continuing implementation of the Serbian Academy strategies of ethnic cleansing.

"For the moment, it [Kosovo] is in very, very bad shape,"
Very true. Kosovo is quite obviously a failed state. Its economy is almost totally dependant on organized crime, a huge component of which are the drug smuggling and sex slave trades with networks throughout Europe and beyond. Only 54 of 192 UN members have recognized Kosovo. Kosovo is being propped up by USA because of its need for yet another military base on foreign occupied territory, Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo.
Kosovo
“Another potential trouble spot for Europe is Kosovo, which declared its independence with the backing of most Western countries about a year ago. "For the moment, it is in very, very bad shape," she said, adding that the priority now is to stabilize Kosovo's governmental institutions and economy. She also called for stronger efforts to integrate Serbia—"a new Serbia" that is democratic and led by people who opposed Slobodan Milosevic—into Europe, in part to "not leave a black hole" in the Continent.”
Typical Greek hypocrisy.
If she and her country were so concerned about the shape of Kosovo, Greece would have recognized Kosovo’s independence just as the majority of EU countries have done.
The “very very bad shape” of Kosovo is what she wishes, and what the “new Serbia” is trying desperately to achieve with the so called “every diplomatic means available” which clearly reflect the mentality of Milosevic’s era.
The best she can do about stabilizing Kosovo’s governmental institutions and economy is to keep away from Kosovo and stop encouraging Serbia’s efforts at destabilization.
If she portrays the shape of Kosovo as very very bad only one year after this country declared independence, what would she say about the shape of her country regarding the latest ugly events that took place there just recently?
