No, actually, they usually dont volunteer. Hamas is not the boy scouts, you know. Hamas terrorists have been known to drag women with babies to the top of buildings from where they are launching rockets on Israeli towns, so that the Israeli's wont retaliate to neutralize the launch site. Where is your compassion for the Israeli civilians who are bieng actively targeted by Hamas monsters on a daily basis. These people are innocent too? And as for your comment "gotta think like a human first" - What kind of humans can send their own children on suicide missions to blow themselves up and kill innocent people at the same time. Dont forget, the Jews are historically among the most oppressed people on earth and have suffered horrendous attacks and genocide over more than 2000 years, but have never ever resorted to Hamas-style tactics. You are mistaken in your pity for these terrorists. They dont kill because they are oppressed, they kill because they are strong believers in a radical, fascist ideology that calls for the desctruction of Israel as the first stage in Islamic world domination. How hard could it be to track down a couple of hundred so called militants in such a small territory?Why kill innocent children and civilians?I don't understand why all these diplomats cannot agree on a truce. Innocent people are dying everyday and seems like nobody cares. Everybody is so concerned about their position on this matter. Can someone even imagine themselves in the situation that these poor gazans are?We need to think of these suffering people as human beings like us and not worry about their religion. Most of the comments here are ridiculous! Israel exists and has every right, legal and historical to be there. Gaza was illegally annexed by Egypt prior to 1967 and Israel took it in a defensive war. The people the live there are not ethnically Palestinian (that is a new concept, invented in the 1990's) they are Egyptian Arabs and should come under the jusrisdiction of that state. Israel is not compelled by any law, international or otherwise, to have anything to do with them. They can trade with Egypt if they want because they have a border with them.
There already is a Palestinian state and it exists on over 80% of the territory that was called the Mandate of Palestine. The name of that country now is Jordan. The Jordanians need to absorb their Palestinian brothers in the West Bank and the Egyptians need to absorb the Gazans, just as Israel absorbed over 900,000 jews from arab countries who were kicked out of their homes and lands after the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. Why dont we ever hear about those refugees? Because Israel helped them to flourish and didnt hold them captive as pawns to strike at their enemies with, as the Arab countries have with the "Palestinians". This is historical fact, but many of you either dont know or prefer to ignore it. Shame!

This offensive just came before the bush administration left power. They know that obama is not an idiot like bush. Bush must have advised them that if you want to attack, do it while im still here and they have done it. What a disgrace. All women, children elderly and other human beings sloughtered the israeli way. Unjust war all together. Israel stole the land in 1948 from the palestinians and thown them out of their own country with the help of america. Now they kill them too???? Shame to America and the whole wide world for allowing a pseudo state like israel with 1 million people create this wars in the midle east. Shame to the arab countries that do not unite to help get the palestinians land back and send israel back to where it came from. Why not unite??? they think that the west will block business and economic growth relations? no if the arab countries were united they wouldnt dare to do anything but would be nice to them all. anyway you get the point..........
Hamas is winning, Isreal fails to achieve it's objectives once again. Hamas should continue the rocket attacks on Isreal, until they give up, withdraw or not.
When you start a war against Islam the only way for it to stop is if the enemy wants peace (meaning Palestine is returned, homes returned, etc..) or the enemy is destroyed. In this situation I can see Isreal being defeated.

It would be best if all conflicts could be resolved at the neotating table. This has been tried before in the arab Israel situation. This war will end on the battle field.
The people of Gaza have chosen their path by electing Hamas, so shut up, fight, die and quit complaining. This is what you have chosen. Shut up and quit looking for sympathy. Battle, grab your guns and charge, go after those people who dominate over you. Finish them off.
But some times you better rethink your methods. Why die. Maby you should consider the different path, negociate. Your people would be so much better off. Instead of fighting attempt to negociate for assistance, give yur people a better life.
If not grab your gun and go see your God.

The land in question today,the so called Israel,was given to Abraham and his descendants through Isaac.We all know,The Israelites had been captives in Egypt babylon, mention where.After God had fulfilled his plans in slavery of these people The same God,chose leaders to take these people back to the same land.In 1948, three years after the 2nd world war,the UN was formed and the leaders uninanimously agreed to gather all these Israelites together and resettle them to the same land,that was after along period of time.In 1967 there was a six day war there had been wars there,there had been conflicts there.This is not new.Leaders are trying to solve the problems in this area politically,militalily,intellecually,still failing.
The solution, I feel is within the spiritual ream.Even if The UN declares Gaza as an indipendent state with its flag at UN offices there shall still be conflicts and wars in this region

All the so called lovers of humanity were mum when hams was firing rockest into israel where were all these people then I did not see any muslim shouting that hams should stop firing rockets into israel in 1948 when the UN came up with the partition plan who rejected it the arabs and now I here some punk writing about UN mandate the problem with muslims is that there ate diff yard sticked for arabs and Israel may I ask why ans that and shame on you to follow a man who married a 9 year old girl SHAME SHAME
Occupation
FYI: Israel is an Occupier incase you forgot. It is only natural for the occupied to uprise against its occupier. 1.5 million people are caged up in an area 6 miles wide and 25 miles long with no exit, no where to go, no place to hide. I urge you to look at the history and understand the reason behind Hamas's rockets. Incase you didn't know Israel broke the cease fire by not opening the borders like they agreed, and killing 30 people during the supposed cease fire. Hamas isn't hiding behind its civilians, Israel is bombing left and right and really doesn't view Palestinian blood as anything important. You though for every up there is a down, for every power there is a power above it and stronger than it. I don't know if you believe in God (which ofcourse is your perogative), but He will ask these killers about these lives they took and the aggression taken aginst these people. What will their excuse be? Doing all this before Obama gets into office is not enough of an excuse.
