Mr. Kingsbury left out one lesson we should learn. People have a right to defend themselves. If you rely only on the police to protect you, you are missing your first and best line of defense. Attacks like this would be far less successful in places where the general population have a right-to-carry and utilize that right.

Modern day terrorism is created by the successive American Governments. They gave weapons to Saddam Hussein in the war against Iran and they gave weapons to Mujahideens in Afganistan. The American govt should stop selling weapons to both the warring govts and the so called rebels of that particular country. If the American govt stopped selling weapons to people who want to topple their govt and stop speaking in favour of one particular group and try to be neutral then this problem on terrorism will come to an end. Can Obama do that?

Evidence??

Yess it is correct Mujahid's dont consume liquor but they do kill 300 innocent people. Its really laughable. there is enough evidence to put whole of humanity in an emotion a of guilt but some are trying to justify saying terrorist dont drink 'liquor' before killing people. What is the proof that they dont drink?

Firstly i invite all those who doubt about the proofs come to India & prove your point if you have faith in your thought and then talk about hindu extremism. For your information aligations were never against muslims doing it, it was the terrorism sponsered by a state/organization as a proxy war or a bunch of morons & cowards, and as usual they happen to be muslims by religion. And about'martyrdom' let me tell you its not a word for such cowards.

The motivation for them was 50,000 Rs/ 1000usd how can one equate this with those 300 lives. I am ready to pay 1000 usd if those people can brought back to life. It is a moral duty of every responsible muslim to cut off from this violent manifestation of faith & prove that religion is first about morality.The only reason why INDIA dont believe in war is because there are thousand of Pakistani Muslims who dont want terrorism, who dont want blood, who want their children to be fed, who want their daughters to be respected and be free. But it is their this desire that is being used and they are trained as terrorist for mere 1000 usd its a matter of shame & disgrace.

People dont kill their children, brothers & sisters in so called false flag operation, atleast Indian & Hindus dont, cant say the same about others; as the term 'false flag operation' obviously proves that it is one of the practice which is followed everyone knows by whom.

Paki Jihad

Finally, rest of the humanity has started to recognize the cancer called " Pakistan ". The terror strategy of Paki army / ISI against India stands on one solid single pillar- PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY. This time in Mumbai they messed up in the execution and have been caught red handed. How much effort would it take or how hard would it be for paki army and ISI to plot and execute a terrorist attack like the Mumbai massacre and deny it completely? Very little, and that’s why they have gotten away so many times.

This is counter intuitive. The claim made most often by Pakis is this-----" such a terrorist attack or such a military mis- adventure (like the Kargil invasion they indulged in 1999) would be detrimental to Pakistan , so why would we do it?" They have used this tactic several times in the last 61 years and each time they have been exposed!! Mumbai is turning out to be Kargil 2008. In 1999 the pakis stealthily sent out one of its regiments, the Northern infantry made of Pashtuns, to capture mountains in Kashmir, lied through the teeth for months these were “Kashmiri freedom fighters”. Until they were humiliated internationally, were forced to admit and retreat.

To those people here who are trying to be "neutral" and trying to defend Pakis: India is a multi-ethnic, multi-religious society founded on an ideal that every one is equal under the constitution. Some of India ’s citizens belonging to EVERY GROUP have attempted to undermine its foundations over the years, and continue to do so. THIS DOES NOT NEGATE OR UNDERMINE THE IDEA OF INDIA AND WHAT WE STRIVE FOR. Christian defense minister, Sikh prime minister, Muslim President, Orthodox Jews living in Mumbai this is what we are about and this is what we cherish. To pull this, and conduct elect democratic governments amidst such poverty for 61 years is no small feat. Add in the factor of Pak being our neighbor!!

Another myth peddled by "experts" everywhere in Western media is once " Kashmir problem" is solved everything will be hunky dory. There is Kashmir “problem” and then there is Pakistan problem, the latter a much bigger threat to humanity. Kashmir is not a fight about real estate, but a survival question for Indians. It is a question about the very idea of India as a country, as a concept. 150 million muslims live in India in its villages and cities across the length and breadth of the country. There are many neighborhoods of cities and villages, with Muslim majority. Should they all become independent? 1000 pakistans across India ? This may sound like a rhetorical question but this was exactly what was visualized by some of the Paki ideologues pre-1947 and still dreamed by many in the Pak army and ISI. The founder and its ideologues expressed dissatisfaction at the “moth-eaten” Pakistan they got in 1947. And they still have gotten over it.

The red band was deliberate. The fishermen in the area are mostly hindus, who wear red bands for identification. These terrorists also wore red bands since they did not want to be caught (they were using the ids of fishermen). Also, both the media and the investigating agencies noticed and mentioned the red bands

Evidence being deliberately ignored?

Strange that none of the media (TV or Print) have picked this up at all. Or have they been deliberately ignoring it?

Tying a red thread or cord around the wrist is a Hindu practice and it is unlikely a Muslim, especially one politicized enough to carry out an attack such as this, would observe it. I think this provides more evidence that this was a false flag operation or at least an attack by a non-Muslim group. Additionally, the terrorists inside the Nariman House Building were reported to have stocked up on supplies on Wednesday evening, buying not just food items but liquor, among other things, from a local store. Again, it is highly unlikely that a Muslim, let alone a 'Mujahid', and especially one politicized enough to carry out such an attack, would consume liquor in normal life, let alone hours before his inevitable 'martyrdom'.

Stop Blaming Muslims

These terrorists have their origin in Pakistan.Its their Nationality that causes terror and not their religion.People should understand that.

It is now time for India to act.Bring an end to Pakistan's terrorism policies against India.It also creates hatred among Indians disrupting Indian unity.

If the Indian and Pakistani governments had any kind of leadership(s), they'd be TEAMING UP to clean out terrorists as opposed to targeting each other. Maybe Obama will suggest this to them.

As for Somali pirates, shoot them with a 50-cal mounted on the corners of every ship.

As for small bands of low-tech terrorists, same fate. No trials. No jail. Ramp up security and shoot 'em on the spot. This is all that is going to work.
