How Lessons From Fighting Pirates Could Improve the Battle Against al Qaeda

A proven way to stop Pirates, Terrorist and Islamic Jihadists.

At Mallory Dock in Key West Florida there is a historical marker that gives the Admirals standing orders, “If they run sink them, if they surrender hang them.” We soon had no piracy in the southern waters of the Great United States. Continue with these orders, keep the bleeding heart news media away from our troops and once again we will be free of Pirates and Terrorist, Islamic, Christian or other.

The Status quo is about to get a dose of reality.... pirates are just the beginning... welcome to the new world order from the other side of the coin .....the people of this world will prevail..... over the greedy self serving fools... who have been running this planet!!!!

a worthy idea

This is a fascinating idea, and I wonder why it hasn't been pursued before. I followed the link to Burgess' piece and found it was published back in 2005. What has been happening since then?

I wonder if this linkage could help with the pirate problem off Somalia as much as with the war on terror...I saw this morning that another cruise ship was attacked.

Pirates are terrorists' role models

Piracy may be the new business model for terrorism off the African coast, but put a small band of determined jihadists aboard a tanker carrying millions of natural gas and you have suicide bombers capable of destroying an entire city. John Chadwell, author/screenwriter "Hunt of the Sea Wolves"

Leave the pirates alone!!

Arrrrrrrrrrrrr.......
