NATO's Weakness

I feel like now days NATO isn't doing there job, especially when Iran is continuing its research on Nuclear power(Weapons) I feel like the US an EU go to war with Iran. An whats Ironic is this might help out the US an EU to get Economy back on track so I'm predicting war in the future with Iran.

iran should have been the focus

Bush administration focused on Iraq and Afghanistan, Iran went nuclear

Israel never got the support it needed to launch an attack and Obama's pro islamic policy will now make this impossible.

Pakistani nuclear proliferation was rewarded with billions in aid and weapons and their dream of spreading the ISLAMIC BOMB is coming true with their assistance to Iran in providing the centrifuges and the know how to produce weapons grade uranium

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan on the verge of failure with many NATO allies pulling out.

Now with the USA and Europe in an economic depression and Iran untouchable with their backing and alliance with Russia and China they will have their nukes.

The question now will be who will create their own ISLAMIC BOMB next Libya, Syria??

more policy failures which will be ignored, sorry Israel.

Problems wit Islam.

It only takes an imbecile to takle these basterds who don't mind dying for theit cause; The Muslems who are ready to die for Mohammed.

The imbecile is our spoiled brat George Bush who all he knows is smoking marijuana and make Hitler look innocent them him.

George Bush, the disgrace of Americans, can do one beautiful gest of inviting the Russian President(if He would lower himself to say O.K0 to the White house), kiss his ass and leave The White House and USA, a chance to survive after His stupid, policy of"We are the Only World Superpower" inspired by his stupid father who did more dammage to America's prestige/credibilities ,thanall the USSR in 75 years.

Black Caesar

Dear Sir,

Might I join in congratulating President Elect Barack Obama.

The crime rate, which has risen across the world since George

Bush was elected, may be set to deflate, even in bad economic

times.

In closing Quantanamo Bay , Obama is doing the work of humanity.

If he promotes the abolition of Capital Punishment, then all the better:

he will also be doing the work of humanity -- a work that is achieved

elsewhere and needs nothing radical. If he challenges the notion abroad

in the US that all Americans need guns to protect themselves from their fellow-

citizens, he shall have added to the work of humanity.

Indeed, if he forgives all his enemies, he will truly be a Black Caesar

of no small stature.

But however much he forgives his enemies or is willing in triumph to

show clementia of an unusual order, then he is head and shoulders

above them in virtue. But if he appoints them -- those who have brought

out poison in the democratic elections , and have constrained his options by

so doing -- , especially if he appoints them to positions of the most

damaging areas, then he is a fool.

What happened to Julius Caesar is not a child's story of the order of Little Red

Riding Hood, but a lesson in political economy perfectly comparable with any

insights of which Machiaevelli might wisely have appraised any Prince.

we better get it right on Iran or we could all die in ww3

report by Newsmax contributing editor and Iran expert Kenneth R. Timmerman, "Six Days to War," which lays out the scenario likely to unfold if the U.S. and Iran go to war.

In Timmerman's report you'll find out why "Six Days to War" could happen sooner than you think — as many American assets are already "in position" for an attack.

Timmerman also details the deadliness and unintended consequences of a U.S. attack against an increasingly militant Iran.

That attack could come sooner than you think.

As the Bush administration ratchets up the pressure, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs says the military option is still on the table and warns Iran that the U.S. can launch massive strikes using Navy and Air power.

The new American commander in the region, Gen. David Petraeus, has also told Congress that Iran is supporting Iraqi insurgents killing Americans. President Bush said in a White House address that Iran, along with al-Qaida, are "two of the greatest threats to America."

Timmerman's report on the looming war with Iran is based on sources including top Israeli intelligence officers, military and political leaders interviewed in Israel and Washington, D.C., and a key planning document — obtained exclusively by Newsmax — developed by the Iranian navy.

Timmerman is the bestselling author of "Countdown to Crisis: The Coming Nuclear Showdown with Iran. His "Six Days to War" report in Newsmax Magazine offers a scenario that represents one likely course a conflict with Iran might take, and explores:

* Iran's arsenal, including ballistic missiles, Silkworm anti-ship missiles — and chemical weapons facilities.

* The first target of a U.S. strike

* How Iran would launch its counterattack

* America's military plan, Operation Clean Slate

* Hezbollah's response to the war's outbreak — a rain of missiles on Israel

* America's secret war power and technology

* The "nightmare scenario" — what if Iran already has nuclear weapons?

* How the U.S. would use its huge air superiority

* Retired Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney's "Big George" scenario to disarm Iran

* The war's shocking effect on oil supplies — and oil prices

* The repercussions in Iraq

* How American strikes could cripple the Iranian navy

* The U.S. commando raids that target Iran's missiles

* U.S. bunker busters' devastating effect on Iranian nuclear sites

* The scenario's surprising end to hostilities

* And much more.

al-Qaida

Obama Warned of 'Huge' Terror Plot

Friday, November 14, 2008 11:56 PM

British security officials say intelligence experts are seriously concerned that al-Qaida will try to pull off a "spectacular" terrorist attack during the transition period from a Bush administration to an Obama administration.

In fact, British Home Office Security Minister Sir Alan West raised the specter of a “huge threat” and noted that “There is another great plot building up again and we are monitoring this," according to the London Times.

Bush administration officials also point out that terrorists have often struck during a time of official change:

# The first World Trade Center attack came just weeks after President Bill Clinton's inauguration in 1993.

# 9/11 occurred less than a year after President George W. Bush took office in 2001.

# British officials thwarted nightclub and airport plots soon after Gordon Brown became prime minister in June 2007.

Earlier this week, CIA Director Michael Hayden said that al-Qaida remains the single greatest threat to the United States.

According to the Times, al-Qaida has been experimenting with biological weapons, such as anthrax.

And Vice President-elect Joe Biden warned during the last month of the presidential election: "Watch, we’re going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle [of Obama].”

This article is nonsense

The article states: " Iran's defiant pursuit of nuclear capabilities will be one of the most difficult to resolve."

Under the NPT, Iran has the INALIENABLE RIGHT to enrich uranium. It has every right in the world to pursue nuclear energy capability. After 17 surprise inspections, more than any other nation has had to endure, the IAEA have not found one shred of evidence to show that Iran is diverting nuclear technology to military use. So that comment is inflammatory, misleading and a patent piece of spin.

The article states: "The government in Tehran has ignored three hard-to-get sanctions resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council demanding that it suspend its nuclear work and come to the negotiating table."

Those sanctions are ILLEGAL - all of them. If Iran has the INALIENABLE RIGHT to enrich uranium under the NPT, nobody, not the UNSC, the USA or anybody else, has the legal right to stop Iran from continuing its nuclear work. As for the demand that Iran negotiate away its legal rights, this is ludicrous. There is no compunction for Iran to negotiate anything at all. If Iran has the legal right to enrich uranium, that's the end of the matter.

Incidentally, the spin that emanates from the USA about the "International Community" being against Iran's nuclear program is just nonsense and a monstrous lie. Of the 192 member nations of the UN, at least 13o in the Non-Aligned Movement plus at least 30 other nations support Iran's nuclear program. So this "International Community" is nothing more than the USA and a handful of its sycophants.

It is high time that the truth was revealed, instead of the American-led propaganda, which is easily proven to be a pack of lies, just like the mythical WMD in Iraq that the Americans used to justify their disgraceful illegal war and occupation of Iraq.

All I can say is that the USA has to be stopped NOW from fomenting any more wars with its campaign of vilification. lies and deliberately false propaganda against any other nation. The USA is NOT the policeman of the planet and should be stopped in its tracks from continuing on its belligerent path.

America has - inspired - many around the world

A true change in US foreign policy is to stop putting a McCarthyist “terrorist” label on anyone not in full compliance with US foreign interests. This naïve American general notion that one is either totally bad and evil, or absolutely good and worthy ally, has been for way to long the public approach of US foreign policy to mask and justify the real intentions of US expansionist foreign policy since the end of second world war.

US long term interests and consequent policies in this new era of globalization, affecting not only the current and future generations of Americans, but also other nations around the world, will not be best served by failed and unilateral visions of American new conservatism. We can no longer dictate and manipulate others to serve our interests by spreading fear of our military and financial prowess and superiority.

Since the declaration of Independence in 1776, America has - inspired - many around the world that under the rule of laws people of all backgrounds could come together and build a nation in couple of centuries like no other in our collective history of thousands of years. What America symbolizes for many Americans and others around the world is this beacon of change and possibilities. Today’s world does not implore an iron fist leadership that brags “you are either with us, or you are with the terrorists”, but a sound and inspiring visionary that can bring the best out of all possible participants.

America once again has this short window of opportunity to inspire and lead, by showing and practicing a real interest in other nations’ inspirations and concerns, and by accommodating some of those we will have a better chance to establish ourselves as a leader and partner to all those who seek better future for themselves and their children…including “terrorists”…

Iran’s Nuclear Challenge

.

..Is the world a far more dangerous place than it was eight years ago ?.?.?

.

..President Bush supplied North Korea with enough money to be able to build several ?.? bombs.....Humanitarian Aid ?.?

LOOK at what that has gotten us.

.

..He has turned his back on IRAN and flatly refused to even talk (diplomatically) with them.....

.

..We have now seen all the W.M.D.'s - Mobile Gas Labortories - Mid-Range Missles and Mushroom Clouds Saddam Possessed......

.

..IRAN "says" it is peaceful developement..........

TALK is CHEAP (er) than a mushroom cloud -.- LET'S TALK

.

..MAYBE -.- MAYBE, We Can Find out the TRUTH

.

..SOMETHING WE ALL NEED - DIPLOMACY

At least Bush leaves him the credibility of force

Bush had no such tool. Clinton left Bush nuclear India and Pakistan and cowardice of surrender in Mogadishu and bombing of civilians in Yugoslavia. When I say cowardice I mean the cowardice of Political establishment, NOT the attitude of our troops. That political cowardice was the USA image to the World. And that's what paved the road to 9-11.

Comparing to Bush Obama is in a much better position with the "credible use of force" as a political tool. The credibility of that use of force had to be restored by the Iraq war after all the damage Clinton Administration did to the said credibility.

But my gut feeling tells me that B. Hussein Obama believes we can live with nuclear Iran. In thinking of the likes of him America is the root of all evil and it is nuclear so what is the big deal if Iran or North Korea go nuclear too? I could be a question of fairness for him
