China Makes Policing an Olympic Event
With the eyes of the world on Beijing, China imposes obsessive security measures around the games

The quality of the air continues to be a major issue in the lead up to the games. Ten thousand athletes have gathered in China for the Olympic games along with hundreds of thousands of fans and 30,000 journalists.
