You can't blame them. China is a gorgeous country with a beautiful rich history. I think this will be one of the best Olympics ever for that reason alone! I hope they kick some serious butt in the gold medal department. It would be just like some religious moron (most likely American) to try to take down one of their shrines, or smash up one of their clubs while intoxicated. China beefed up security because they know the crazy, insecure Americans are coming and they are bringing their redneck preznit with them!

security volunteer?These old people just want to enjoy the olympic.It's isn't an army,but there are many elder people who hope the world is more peaceul and want to protect the friends coming from the whole world.please, appreciate their kindness.

"obsession with security"?!

HaHaHa! No country in the world has the "obsession with security" as United States after 9-11. Why won't USNWR put out a special report on that?

The situation is totally different from your aticle

The chinese government and the chinese people really made great efforts to host a high level Olympic Games. By the way, I'm a Canadian working in China. I really enjoyed my life here, and always been moved by what chinese people did for the great game.please don't make any negative comments without visiting this beautiful country.
