As i read and understand from this article about Noman Benotman, who ran a Libyan fighting group attempting to overthrow Muammar Qadhafi, split with bin Laden in 2000 over the direction of the global jihadist movement. Benotman claims to have urged bin Laden to abandon international terrorism altogether. We need more like Noman Benotman in this world, The united states and the UK, should support people like Noman Benotman, becous they Know how Alqada thinks and moves, I realy think that Noman Benotman, should be a commander in counterterrorism.

I UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN WE FIRST ENTERED IRAQ, WE FIRED ALL OF THE BATHIST ARMY ETC. THESE GUYS ALL NEEDED A JOB AND AL-QAEDA OFFERED IT TO THEM. WE WERN'T TOO SMART THEN. EVEN MUSLIMS NEED MONEY TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES.

This is an ideological struggle and luckily Bush had the foresight to have an ideological face off in Iraq while enforcing UN Resolutions and exposing UN corruption. So, we forced a comparison of ideologies in the sands of Iraq and as it turns out, the secular nation isn't to keen on Al-Qaeda's. Unfortunately teh democrats afre stuck in yesteryear, wanting to revert to the same strategy that lead to 9/11 - whacking moles I think it was called.

Typical Cult Mentality

Seems like a typical cult mentality to me. Whether AQ, Chicago gangs, Brach dividian, or Tom Cruise. No contact with friends and family - they will certainly try to talk sense to you. Also, we need to think about why they call US the great satan. Like killing our babies, #1 supplier of the world's porn, capitalist greed, etc, etc. We need to remove a few things from our resume and add a few others . . .

How about here at home?

As serious as foreign terrorism is (and it IS), many folks in the USA would be as well or better served by us figuring out how to separate disillusioned American gang members (local terrorists) from their leadership(s) here.
