Toxic Consequences of Green Revolution

This revelation is significant. It says that the underlying assumptions about the "first" Green Revolution, the means by which developing contries like India were able to finally meet their internal food requirements, were false. Unfortunately, India's burgeoning population is now dependent on them. So, I would guess, is China's. And the USA's, too? Do we blame this on the "first" Green Revolution technology? Personally, I think unchecked population growth is the real cause of what could be a potential Armegeddon. It undermines all solutions to our social problems. Problems grow faster than solutions can be developed and applied.
