Brazil is attracting foreigners of the entire world, mainly of the Europe and of the united states of the america, attracted mainly by the big opportunities of quick enrichment, due to big offering of lands and to the economic growth. And that it is not a new dream of prosperity, in the centuries 19th and 20th, the country received the second largest contigente of immigrants, alone losing for the U.S.A.

HE WAS AMAZED AND STATED THAT WERE HE YOUNGER AND KNEW PORTUGUESE HE WOULD ESTABLISH ONE OF THE BEST FARMS IN THE WORLD ON THAT UNDEVELOPED PLAIN. FRIENDS LAUGHED AND REPLIED THAT HE WOULD LOSE HIS SHIRT. THAT IS NOW THE BEAUTIFUL AREA WHICH IS SOME OF THE BEST FARM LAND IN THE WORLD. Will the Food Superpower achieve its own food security?
Buying cheaper land in Brazil's rural frontiers and growing soya it's like hitting the bull's eye for a lot of Brazilian and foreign farmers who wanna get some bucks. Internal migration happens as well as international one: a lot of southern Brazilians, mainly from Rio Grande do Sul, are settling in Bahia, Maranhão, Mato Grosso etc. and expanding their crops for much less with much more profit.
The other hand is that this expansion into new agricultural lands seriously threatens environment - Amazon is at risk, and Cerrado (the Brazilian savanna) was almost destroyed in the past 20 years. Despite the fact that big business is not harvesting food for the masses but cattle ration, being the "Hamburguer Connection" a famous example. And even more appaling than that: China recently stated that it considers buying land abroad to assure food production and supply to Chinese markets, what warned Brazilian authorities on the "risk" posed by foreigners buying large farmlands in Brazil. The so-called Food Superpower should be aware of that, for it's own food security's sake.
Brazil - new colony??
Brazil, according orders and actions of Her Magesty and a litle group of Big Europeans and North Americans Big Corporations, includind chemical, petroleum, water, is destined to be a new colony. Brazilians Environmental authorities, in connection with NGO´s , as Greenpeace, WWF, Natural Conservancy , Club of Rome, UN, missionaires and others, - so called "Green Mafia" - are taking care of this mission.
They try to stop Brazil development, acting against progress initiatives from brazilinans., as biofuel, agricultural, road construction, electricity an so on.
They simply don´t want Brasil´s development.
