Obama Bans Federal Employees From Texting While Driving
Motorists who text-message while driving are being assaulted on all sides: First there's a national ban being discussed in the Senate, and today President Obama signed an executive order prohibiting all federal employees from text-messaging while they're operating motor vehicles. "A Federal Government-wide prohibition on the use of text messaging while driving on official business or while using Government-supplied equipment will help save lives, reduce injuries, and set an example for State and local governments, private employers, and individual drivers," says the order. President Obama also included federal contractors in the ban. The order comes on the last day of the Department of Transportation's Distracted Driving Summit.

We really do not need any new laws
Except all common sense in this country is replaced with selfishness and greed so you have to spell out the obvious so people know what they can get by with and what than cannot. Which means the more self centered people get the more laws we are going to need.
How many people out there does not see what we are doing to our selfs? Of course texting while driving is dangerous, Common since tells you that! And should be considered unsafe driving practice or reckless driving.
Technology that can save our lives and make our lives easier is expensive because of greed so we do not develop it for many years after we created it on paper if then. The oil companies has berried technology that could have saved us money but cost them and there selfish reasoning was that kind of technology would hurt the economy(theres)
If it was not for greed our technology and quality of life could be so much better.
Our life style today is the result of big business, They are rich and most of us instead of improving our minds and enjoying life are destroying it trying to get ahead of everybody else.
I never want to see what our forefathers did for us be destroyed, But at some point if we do not move on to the next step, We will lose what we have. And that next step must be decided by the common people and will not develop properly if greed or selfishness is involved.
So are we going to go the way of Rome, Or are we going to Advance?
