Potential 2012 Candidate Mitch Daniels's Harley Ride
It's getting to be time again for Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels's annual motorcycle ride. And his fans hope he'll also be revving up consideration for a 2012 presidential run. We just got his E-mail to join him for a two-day ride, August 14-15, as you can see in the picture. It's being organized by the Indiana-based group American Bikers Aimed Toward Education.
Daniels, a former Reagan and Bush aide, is popular in the Midwest state, one of the critical areas for GOP candidates. While he's not addressing the presidential whispers, supporters are. Some even suggest he team up with Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour on a GOP ticket.
