As part of the worldwide response to the passing of Michael Jackson, Madame Tussauds D.C. will pay tribute to his memory by displaying a wax likeness of the "King of Pop" in the window of the attraction for passersby to view on Thursday, July 2, starting 11:00 a.m., at Madame Tussauds Washington D.C., 1025 F Street, NW (at 10 th Street.)

Due to overwhelming requests from D.C.-area fans, the figure was shipped-down to D.C. from Madame Tussauds' New York attraction.  Huge crowds of fans gathered on 42nd Street in New York City to take pictures, lay flowers or offer their tearful goodbyes, while the figure was on display.
