At Tulane, Carville Hosts Pal George Stephanopoulos
Longtime Democratic consultant James Carville may now call New Orleans his home, but Washington is never very far away. This week, for example, the Tulane University political science professor is calling on an old friend to speak to his class: George Stephanopoulos, the former 1992 Clinton campaign aide. It's for Carville's class on the 2008 election, according to Tulane President Scott Cowen's newsletter: "On April 28 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. George Stephanopoulos, host of ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos, will be the guest lecturer in James Carville's class 'The 2008 Presidential Election.' The class is full but you are invited to a simulcast across the hall in Norman Mayer Room 101. At the end of the class, both George Stephanopoulos and James Carville will visit the simulcast room."

Taps
Tell George that the music behind the military dead of the week list on his Sunday Show should be "Taps" and nothing else!
Any other sound is inapropriate, disrespectful and meaningless to all us Vets!

Pretty good news for Tulane, but would have been great if we could have held on to Brinkley
