GOP Mouthpieces Join Together to Rescue the Party

Posted March 30, 2009

An outbreak of unity is hitting Republicans—and not a moment too soon. Down by several dozen House seats, the House GOP campaign arm—the National Republican Congressional Committee—is bringing back major campaign consultants and public affairs officials to help create a winning formula for the 2010 elections. "The NRCC communications team couldn't have a better and more talented group of individuals contributing to our efforts," NRCC Communications Director Ken Spain said in a statement. "Every single one of them brings a great level of knowledge and skill that spans across a broad spectrum of issue areas and political campaigns." One of those on the list below said that for now the group will offer monthly advice, although that could grow as the election nears. Here's the release just sent to Whispers:

New group plans TV campaign comparing AIG bonus fiasco to health care changes.
