Obama and his game of policies, he could do what he can do in the middle of mess. the bank, AIG, politic, history or whatever are all just a tool in his game, but I do hope that he will play not only for his own country but for the sake of international economic background

Its ridiculous to point the finger. The bottom line is that they are all politicians. Have you not forgotten what that means? It means they lie cheat and steal for a living. Why is it that as a senator they make around $200,000 a year, yet they are all millionaires? Must be from some really smart investing. Also do not forget that the majority of politicians started as lawyers. Another despicable group.

you are so right on the money. These republicans have forgotten who started the bailouts in the first place. Obama wasn't even in the picture at that time. He was running for President of the United States. We hadn't even hit the polls when all of this was happening. The man cannot work miracles in a day. And it's gonna take more than a day to fix this mess that Bush put us in.
What the ones who are downing Obama and talking ugly about him, where were you when people were losing there jobs and their homes. On whose watch was this happening on. It sure wasn't on Obamas watch. And remember this, EVERY NEW PRESIDENT HAS TO CLEAN UP THE MESS THAT THE LAST SITTING PRESIDENT HAS MADE!!!!! And believe me when I say that Bush had 8 long years to make and mess and that's what he has made. ONE HELL OF A MESS.

I'm an Independent who believes in American freedom. Some thoughts on a broken America:
The AIG mess is symbolic of big capitalist corporation America. Nothing new. It is shameful, but their bonuses were part of their employment contracts. It's too bad that personal greed overtook their patriotism during this financial crisis that is now our way of life. They should be fired, not rewarded for failure. Golden parachutes should disappear with their failed leadership. Our lawyer-dominated Congress (and lawyers - President and First Lady) should have closed this loophole before bail-out money was handed out. Shame on them. All of them. Shame on us.
I question Obama's presidential legitimacy. Is he a natural born American and thus eligible to be our president? Let's see the birth certificate that his team of lawyers is working feverishly to withhold from public scrutiny. This may be the largest fraud ever perpetuated on America. Let Dan Rather break the story.
Be careful of what we wish for regarding health care. It takes approximately 14 MONTHS to get in to see a doctor in Canada, where health care is "free". Health care is a service - not a right.
Even Russia's Putin is warning of the dangers of socialism to American freedom. We have elected a Marxist/socialist and Islamic-trained president. We are now more communistic than China - which owns us and could foreclose. This is nothing to be proud of.
Now Obama's after our ammunition - easier to get to than our guns. Loss of any of our constitutional rights or freedoms is horrific and shameful. Full stop!
Impose a flat tax of 5% on all income from any source, right off the top with no refunds. Impose a flat tax of 5% on all purchases. Legalize drugs - taking the profit out of the black market. Tax drug sales at 55%.
Arrest and re-train drug dealers. Perhaps a better use for Gitmo?
Eliminate the IRS.
Stop rewarding those corporations who off-shore American jobs to avoid taxes.
I don't feel my un-wealth should be redistributed to other countries to fund anything, nor should it be given to those in this country who choose to have nothing better to do than to lay on their backsides producing more mouths to feed. A free ride through life is not owed to them.
Illigals should receive nothing. They are criminals. Send them home. Let them fix the problems in their own countries. Close and defend our borders. Adopt immigration rules similar to Australia's.
My ancestors, Native Americans and Europeans, never asked for nor got a free ride - and we have never felt the need to give a free ride to anyone else for longer than a "helping hand up".
Wake up, Americans! What will it take to convince you that this presidency may be a fraud - a fake by an unqualified "leader" -and disastrous to a free America?
It won't get better, folks, no matter how much time you give Mr. Obama. We are going backwards in a downward spiral.

Less than 100 days in office, for Heaven's Sake!!
To "Cathy" & "Tired of BS" (along with anybody else who wants to whine about Pres. Obama's actions):
He has been in office for barely 50 days (I'm estimating about 58) and you're whining about being on the Tonight Show and not doing enough to get the economy boosted! You are UNBELIEVABLE!! How do you expect him to clear up the mess that Pres. Bush and VP Cheney (along with Rove & Co.) created in 8 years??? Pres. Obama is NOT GOD and so you really need to give him some time! The whole bailout idea was Bush's baby. Yes, Congress under Bush was the one that wrote out the plan, but Bush was pushing them to speed up the process and not caring about how it was done! One thing I do not agree about is the taxation theory on the bonuses, for the simple matter that there will be legality questions on it and 2nd, if it is taxed on the bonuses, which they received about 1 or 2 weeks ago, the tax money won't be paid until 4/15/2010 (a bit too late, IMHO). That bonus money should be repaid WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH!
Go back in history, to when Herbert Hoover was president and failed to stop the Great Depression. He lost the presidency to FDR and it took Roosevelt a long time to get the country back into shape (more than the roughly 58 days Obama has had so far)!!
Again, it took Bush & Co. 8 years to screw up our country. Give Obama at least a year (pray to God it will be much less) to start getting some positive results in reversing the damage done!!

This is all Presidents Bush's fault for what has happned to this country, and I dont know he can lay his head down on a pillow at night, knowing millions of people who are homeless, jobless, families torn apart, no health insurance, homes going into forecloser left and right, including my deceased mothers home in Palm Beach County, Florida, because when there are two people on a deed and one does not agree to sell. I had a buyer and thanks to my sister who lives in Texas baulked on a sale. President Obama has done alot more in the short time he has been in office, this did not happend overnight,and won't be corrected overnight. Im glad that I voted Democrat, this is my opinion... He will do what he can , and only time will tell, what will become of this country.. If the American people want this country back to some kind of normal happy medium , then they should be willing to support him and not judge him...He's only human as we all are, and as we want our jobs, and homes, and health care, and education, and then some... I can only speak my opinion...
When the going gets rough the tough get going
President Obama is doing a very good job.He doesn/t have a magic wand to wave and undo the disatrous mess that the Bush Administration and his wall street buddies left the country in. But Obama does have a lot of stamina and determination to get the job done. We have been in need of a President like this for a long time.
We should all support Obama's efforts to do whatever is necessary to get us through this to recovery. If you're not part of the solution to the problem, then you are part of the problem itself. It's time to wake up AMERICA and let's get going.

i have read most of what people write and did'nt understand way it's such a question about money.learn how to do without somethings.food,gas,housing everything so high tire to ajust what you can and let president obama do his job.we will make it.
