IN MY OPINION GOVERNOR PALIN IS A TRUE AMERICAN AND ONE WHO CAN LEAD OUR COUNTRY BACK TO FISCAL AND MORAL SANITY. I PRAY SHE WILL BE A LEADER OF OUR COUNTRY FOR MANY YEARS.

I hope the people of Pennsylvania see the true nature of their latest Democratic Senator - its not about principals or ethics or getting the job done - its strictly about getting re-elected. It would be nice if our politicians would put the country first = but its really about ME first and changing stripes as necessary for personal survival and to heck with everyone else. Good luck Sarah, at least we know where she stands and will remain.

If the Republicans think that abandoning your job as Gov. makes you fit to run for the White House I wouldn't be suprised. This party really needs to get it together. It has turned into a joke. They need to reboot and not with Ms. Alaska. Please try again. Give the democrats something to work with instead of turning polotics into a worse mess. I beg of you!!!!
We can hope this is the last we'll hear of her.
This proves she's not even qualified or fit to be the governor of her home state; I'm just thankful she's not in the White House. She's deluding herself and her misguided followers if she thinks she's got a future in politics.
Stay up there, Ms. Palin, and leave the rest of us alone.
I shall watch the news for the real reasons behind this. I imagine the entire truth will come out. It usually does.
Palin and her integrity
At last someone has intgrity. It's been scary to read anything about Gov. Palin since her introduction. The liberal media seem to enjoy destroying her completely. I was a die-hard democrats, and used to hate of the republicans, never want read anything positive about the opposition which made me a real ignorant, made to believe that all republicans are stupid, rumor mongering leeches. I'm still a Clinton supporter, but I voted for McCain-Palin. I just realized that since I watch the republicans, and who/what they are, it feels good. They are real people.
Parties and morals
I applaud Mrs. Palin for doing what is right for the state and not to advance her own agenda. Should all politicians have the same fortitute, this country would remain the light of freedom throughout the world.
The parties are so in bed with each other that fresh insight, such as that from Mrs. Palin, is CHANGE that can do us all good.
Decorum, Respect and Honor
Perhaps the American public needs to take a stand against the less than professional ethics demonstrated by our elected officials and demand truth in reporting in all aspects of each individual's life. What happened to just the facts ? Where is investigative reporting, then presenting the true story rather than the sensationalism that would have been considered trash reporting during the Huntley-Brinkley era ?
What concerns me even more deeply is the lack of respect for our families, which should be the highest regarded asset that any of us have the honor to be a part of. Why do night talk show hosts feel it necessary to degrade and tell jokes that dishonor a fourteen year old girl. If this was said to her face to face, it possibly could be considered sexual harrassment by a dirty old man. How would you feel if this was your daughter.
To Sarah Palin, my deepest regards for standing up for what you believe in, for demonstrating that women are not to be taken lightly as future leaders of our country. Most of all thank-you for sharing your family, especially your little one with special needs, your eldest daughter and her son, all of whom show the world that women balance family, finances and careers very successfully. Thank-you to , to your husband who has been at your side being quietly supportive while you follow, your dreams, your calling and your right to stand tall.

Finally! The Republicans have SOMEONE I can vote for again! After the DISASTER, that was eight years of George W. Bush, I though I might never vote again!
Sarah Palin can win the Presidency! They (The Republicans), would be a FOOL, to let this chance slip away! People still remember George W. Bush VERY WELL!
There's a reason why the Republicans are sitting on the sideline right now! It's not like America has a very high opinion of them! I think Palin is the Republicans only shot!

Whether she stays in office or resigns, the media, and the Palin's haters, keep acting like a hungry piranha. I'm surprised why they can not act the same with Senator Dodds who is responsible for the AIG bonus loophole, his wife is a healthcare lobbyist and has a home that is the result of a questionable restriction. How about Biden who claimed he was a legal scholar (a shameless claim), and plagiarized a Labor leader of UK. They should not forget that those who throw manure at somebody eat their own manure.The more they throw manure at Governor Palin, the bigger their appetite for their own. So shameless
will Sarah resigning hurt the Republican party
Short and simply, the answer is "NO." Unless something terribly wrong is exposed, Sarah Palin will retain her support from those that supported her before. This resignation will neither supply new votes or diminish previous ones. The Republican party, just like the Democrat party, has become a worthless, outdated, useless, hopeless entity. The only people not aware of this are the small percentage that is making money from keeping the money machines, called political parties, alive and the mass numbers of people, ones that proclaim a party loyalty because they are incapable of independent, rational thoughts.
