Palin Accepts Letterman's Apology for 'Bad Joke'

Was Sarah "Exploited" by Todd?

I guess Sarah hates being reminded of her own past, and Bristol's. Typical "Conservative" thought of do as I say and not as I do, or it's OK for me and my family to have pre-marital underage sex but not for the rest of you. You gotta love the hypocisy and the fools that listen to her drivel.

Who did what and where, when?

Palin is good looking (for a woman her age)

I dont know about her politics but she is "hot!"

Dont know about her kids or husband, who cares.

And "..called upon the public to rise up in opposition.." of what... nuclear weapons, financial crisis, terrorists, axis of evil.. oh wait.. "rise up in opposition" of David Letterman.

I think I will rewatch that Eminem video again..

Glad it's Over

Joel Wollin of MN is exactly right. For once, apologies accepted, and it's over with. If only more politicians and the press could do this more often, and then concentrate on the bigger issues facing our nation.

Congratulations to both!

Sarah's Man John Ziegler = Hard-Core Misogynist

Sarah, like most women, is offended by misogynist behavior. Why then is she "pallin' around" with John Ziegler, a proven, hard-core woman-hating misogynist?

I don't think Sarah has seen this video. I kind of doubt John Ziegler will be welcome in her world if she ever does.

Hooray, it's over...

Apology given and accepted. Everybody involved wants this to be over and go their separate ways...everybody that is not involved should now do the same.

Palin's Hypocrisy

Where was Palin's sense of moral outrage when sat sat in with two radio shock jocks who were ripping a female politician apart while Palin giggled away? Never called them on it. Never even gave one of those , " aw guys..c'cmon" responses. Nope... she thought attacking a cancer survivor was just a darned hoot. Hear it for yourself:

Oh boy....

She is creating new enemies with every breath she makes. What a crock to bring up our soldiers to demonstrate our freedom of speech which she is now feverishly trying to take away. So the joke was not correctly vetted prior to Letterman telling it, kind of like how Sarah Palin was brought into the national spotlight. John McCain needs to apologize to the world for dumping Mrs. Palin on us. We are waiting...

The best we can do for VP!

Okay, while I think it was a tasteless joke, it's an adult comedic routine, that's the way they are supposed to be. As far as the comment about intelligence by Viva Palin, the unintelligent comment should apply to you Curtis! A women who went to 5 colleges, 2 of which were community colleges to get her degree after 5 years in communications is the best we can do for the Vice President, come on! Not to mention the fact that she did have a knocked up minor daughter, and she herself eloped while 2 months pregnant with her first child. (Which she has made every attempt to hide) Come on lady, take off the mini skirt suit and go home and manage your out of control daughters and get off your high horse. The reason why no one said this about Obama's daughters is because none of them got knocked up and Michelle hasn't posed in flag bikini's holding a gun to get her point across!

Viva Palin!

to "Palin's Ego" you've got to be singularly unintelligent if you can't understand. Probably, you just don't care. As usual, it's OK for liberals to call conservative women "slutty", "b^$&#" or "c*^!", among other insults, because liberals think they are so morally superior to conservatives that this sort of outlandish misogyny is defended as "humor" or "freedom of speech".

A similar joke about the Obama girls would be treated as blashpemy and the sinner burned at the stake--and rightly so.

And let me remind you that Palin was in NY ON BUSINESS to raise money for a charity that helps disabled children.

Letterman's audience should be ashamed of itself, laughing at that kind of filth. ABC should be ashamed of itself for not editing out those comments. Letterman's writers should be ashamed for not having more class or common sense.

And you, whoever you are, anonymous writer of senseless idiocy, are not intelligent enough for shame.

Palin's ego

Please go back to Alaska and do the job you were elected to do. So much for freedom of speech, even if it is tasteless. For a country that consumes so much reality tv, cannot figure out how this got so much media exposure. If Palin is so 'tough' why did she not demand all the other comedians that have made jokes over the past months be raked over the

coals and try to get them fired. What was this about? If this is the best 'news' we really need to go back to the old days of news after the dinner hour, clearly there is not enough to fill 24 hrs of coverage and resorting to this is pathetic.
