Literacy studies have shown that one out of every 7 adults in the USA cannot read or write how much more think critically about issues. That suggests strongly that those 46 million adult votes against President Obama must come from this subset of the American population! Adults who voted without having a clue what the elections were all about.These are the people who resort to name-calling and all forms of mindless, fear-filled, panic-stricken rumor-mongering when they speak or try to write. Those in this population are largely the evangelicals, the conservatives and the republicans who just do what they are told without ever trying to find or question anything but recite the talking points fed to them. At the head of this population are Sarah, Huckabee and others like them. Peoplw who want to live free or die yet enslave others, those claim to be CHristians yet curse their elected leaders,those who lie without blinking and think nothing of killing those who disagree with thier beliefs, hate abortion but wink at pre-marital sex and adultery, etc. The greatest danger to this country is from these folks - 46 million wingnuts! How scary!

I am afraid of Sarah

I am scared of Sarah Palin. As a republican, ever since GW became president the republican party has become a bunch of anti intellectual idiots. While i am socially conservative, and am a devout Catholic Christian, i feel that we emphasize these issues as our only issues. I'd rather fix the budget and conserve our environment, as well as provide a non socialist solution to healthcare, than just talk about getting rid of abortion and gay marriage (talk is all its been, the republicans have never tried to reverse roe, even when they had the majority in both houses). I don't think Gov. Palin even cares about these issues, if she runs in 2012, she'll lose in the primaries i hope, but if republican sheeple vote for her, prepare for another four years of barack. I don't know who is a good candidate, but at least someone who can win, Mccain was the right choice in 2000, not 2008, and Sarah should not have even been considered. There are thousands of better choices for VP (personally i wanted Chuck Hagel, my senator in Nebraska, if only he had run for prez, he wouldnt of won, but he would of been best VP nominee by far). Anyway, GOP, don't vote for Sarah in the primaries unless you want someone stupider than GW bush

Palin, hmm...she's the in your face say whatever she thinks without thinking. Just think hmm...after having had a long day of actually thiking before I speak!. After having used all of my intellectual brain power to earn a living. I can come home and be assured to read something stupid Palin has said or done that day!. It's the pride she takes in being a Washington outsider. An excuse for being ignorant beyond comprehension. It's knowing that her male followers think she is hot and their dull wive's are not! It's the Walmart out of shape hockey mom trying to live in her experience. Their delusional dream "she's just like me" the "one day it could be me mentally" that has me choking laughing. When in reality she is nothing like you! for starters this women will be pulling in 20 million a year, and didn't even have to finished her job! She walked out on these people in Alaska!. She quit! and will get rich off of people like you........But I will admit Sarah should send McCain a gift basket every Xmas!. Way to cash in Sarah beauty and clueless! Only in America folks only in America the only thing she needs to win the whitehouse is a bikini. Believe me Sarah is smart enough to know it!

It might suprise alot of you out there. But it's not the liberals that's afraid or should be afraid of Sarah Palin it's the GOP! Specifically mainstream republicans! She has the sex appeal, stupidity, and ignorance to make any intelligent republican stick there head in the sand. She has enough appeal to throw the Party back into the redneck trailer park main parking lot where it rightfully belongs. Go SARAH! the dems love you! I am getting my pop corn ready to laugh harder than .... Never in my life have I seen such stupidity! I dont think that sarah should be doing anything but being the governer of Alaska. That is what she committed to, and what she should be doing as well a being a mother to her children. I lived in capitol of Alaska and to tell you the truth I did not feel ANY satisfaction from her as a governer but as just another politician trying to gain publicity in the government. Her daughter being pregnent and having a child as well does not help the situation considering i attended school with her and she didn't make any grand differences or influential movements.

Palin is the greatest

Governer Palin is the most experienced candidate to have ever run for President or Vice President period. The liberals are scared to death of her but big deal, they are scared of everything. Gingrich and his ilk are spewing hate against her for his own selfish reasons, he is a foe Republican not a real one.

She is being a Governer and a Mother and does not have time for playing Politics, she does not need to Run for President, just let her do her job and then the People will rise up and choose her and Todd.

I'm glad to see that Governor Palin is not out there campaigning yet, (that is if she runs). I am so sick of politicians who's whole agenda is nothing but campaigning. An example of that is president Obama. He started campaigning for 2012 the day after he took office and hasn't stopped since. However, the same can be said for John McCain.

Palin's the governor of Alaska. Let her do her job for now. As for the GOP- well boo hoo! You don't know if you bunch of moderate/liberals are going to have to campaign against Palin? What a shame. I suppose you have good reason to be worried...let's face it, real Republican's want you moderate/liberals out of their party and in the Democrat party where you belong. Otherwise, the Republicans are going to continue to stay on their losing streak. Palin is the Republican moderate/liberal kryptonite.

There is something fascinating about a political figure who defends the rights of women, is a republican, and wants to defend the civil rights of gays and lesbians, and is against abortion. It's a configuration that we normally don't see on either side of the aisle. She certainly erases the good ole boy party line.

I would encourage Governor Palin to follow those ideologies through the long progression of contradictions and address them as no other leader has attempted to do. You would be the first to have the courage to point out how homophobia is a weapon of sexism. Step out, think it out, and speak it out.
