Since Pelosi is too power hungry to to do the right thing and resign, it is time to recall or impeach her, whichever procedure will provide the swiftest justice.

Pelosi is an incredible partisan that puts her causes as top priority to the country's interests. As a fat cat, she does not care what happens to those Americans who have saved throughout their lives, shouldered their personal, family, and community responsibilities, and believe in individual rights and liberties.

I salute those who have served our government, especially in the last decade, protecting all of us from obvious and not so obvious threats and harm.

She is an embarrassment to her position. Unfortunately, she represents a constituency that will continually send her back to Congress.

She has finally put herself in a position that will put her job on the line. The CIA will have the upper hand in this investigation. She has lied and now the whole world will know.

Apparently it was her other self who attended the meeting with the other members of congress who somehow remember they had been briefed.

Pelosi made extremely serious accusations last night: The CIA and the Bush Administration lied to the Congress. That's illegal and of the most serious nature possible.

Pelosi had better get her act together on this one. The Justice Department needs to open a criminal investigation into these allegations, with the outcome either being indictments against the CIA and Administration "liars" or the resignation of Pelosi as a most destructive, lying Congresswoman.

It has to be one or the other, and we NEED to get to the bottom of this and know the truth. Now.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is doing her Democratic colleagues a big favour. By focusing on what the CIA said or didn't say, she can get a big push towards a Truth Commission and divert attention away from having to deal with trivial matters like healthcare, helping Americans get back to work, and getting our economy off the floor...and they can all blame the Republicans. An even bigger bonus is that they can totally trash the CIA and other intelligence agencies, too. What does America need with intelligence agencies anyway. They don't help stuff Congressional campaign coffers at all so what good are they?

And by the way: does she think the CIA doesn't tape their briefings? She's on tape.

Diversity of Sources

Coverage of Pelosi's news conference is an excellent example of why we need to obtain news from a variety of sources. This article is relatively benign, but incomplete. On NPR this morning, selected snipets from the conference gave the impression of Pelosi as confident, forceful, and forthright; with no concerns raised about inconsistencies in her statements. Last night Fox News showed the entire conference, including the moments where Pelosi was befuddled, rambling, and contradicting herself.

STOP

Stop pointing fingers, and start coming together. Are WE not Americans ? Should we suddenly decide that people that wear glasses cant agree with people with good vision ? What about everyone that is bald, should they discount the views of people with thinning hair ? Full head of hair ?

We are Americans, and no we do not all agree on everything, however this "blame game" should be left behind in the playground's of our Primary schools.

Senators, Representatives, and other elected officials need to wake up and do what is right for US, (in case they have forgotten, US comes before A) they were elected to represent the interest of the people, not serve their own bloated self image.

As a 3 Tour Veteran from the War in Iraq, having good friends KIA, 5 of my own guys and myself wounded in action, no one in Congress can understand what it is like everyday knowing that someone over there wants to kill you, dance on your body and celebrate killing "the Western Demon". A 15 minute visit to serve your own private agenda does not show you the truth on the streets. You CAN NOT train someone to fight, then put them in the ring and say "go in there and fight, but do not hit your opponent". Do not forget these are the people that kill innocent people, both here at home, and there in the Middle East.

There are some good people in the Middle East, however there are some very evil people as well. Should we just cower down to the view's and whim's of lesser Countrys and not protect ourselves ? Should we not remember that the person that flew the plane into the North Tower WAS in custody in Isreal ? And that "feel good" American politics led to his release.

Wake Up America. Our elected officials should stop this childish behavior and stop worrying about who wore a blue suit instead of black. Do what is right for US in the USA.
