We usually break up monopolies in this country. When will the citizens demand the same of the political parties?

Barney Frank is the poster child for term limits. on tape in 2004 stating to a bank regulator that there is nothing wrong with Fannie and Freddie that the problem is the regulator. Incomptent, corrupt and stupid, he is exactly whats wrong with this country today.

Bad loans began with deregulation, 30 years ago. As president, Reagan began federal DE-REGULATION in l980, after doing it at state level as Governor. Banks stopped being audited to make sure they had enough money in the vault to cover money they loaned out. We had anti-trust laws and banking laws, but he encouraged non-enforcement. He was called "the Law and Order President" but we see what happened. He, as leader of the Republican Party, created this nation's biggest national debt. But he said Democrats were the "Tax and Spend Party." Maybe some of his poor decisions came from Alzheimer's, discovered too late, that made him take bad advice. He said he asked God for advice. No public official should to do that.

To prove he gave first allegiance to the Code of Canon Law, not the Constitution, Drinan obeyed the pope who DARED to order priests to withdraw from elections here!! For me, that's the important part of this situation. Ours is a Republic, and none of our citizens are supposed to be ordered around by foreign rulers. We actually need godless public servants who never give a penny to a preacher and would never ask taxpayers to buy food, housing and other necessities for them. All churches are money-making corporations. If they weren't, they'd go out of business. They do have INCOME or they wouldn't be asking for relief from income taxes. They own lots of valuable real estate, or they would not ask for relief from property taxes.

This bumbling idiot aided and abetted Freddie and Fannie in their coverup of how bad off they were financially, while the CEO's of these institutions were taking tens of millions in performance bonuses and salaries. Frank needs to impeached, indicted, tried, convicted, and sent to a Homosexual Heaven in a Federal Penitentiary for life. At least in prison, he could not further wreck and disgrace the United States of America.

Barney has never had to answer for his role in the mortgage loans gone bad. How will our country ever recover when people like him are allowed to force banks and mortgage companies to give loans to people knowing they can't possibly pay it back. It was probably a democrat election conspiracy to ensure O'bama got elected. There needs to be an investigation; so many people have been affected by this.

You forgot to mention that BARNEY was caught running a male prostituation ring with his old counterpart Gerry Studds while both were in the US Legislature back in the 80's. In fact, "Hott-bottom" was Barney's roommate and the main "witness" to these transgressions that were swept under the rug b/c of all the US Reps that were involved with "utilizing the services" of Hott-Bottom and the gang.....You also forget to mention that Barney was "dating" one of the head guys at either Freddie or Fannie while he was actively trying to get the regulations relaxed for these quasi gov't mortgage companies that helped to get us into this situation. You are trying to amke a crimnal punk who helped wreck our country into a hero or something. HOW EGREGIOUSLY SHORT SIGHTED CAN YOU BE????
