there the same as everyone else, they just have diffrent needs and feelings. I believe being gay, well your born that way, and i cant believe people are being DENIED THEIR RIGHTS TO MARRY WHOM THEY PLEASE.

SO what if your GAY, all these religious Nutjobs, and extreme conservatist, people. No one should be able to tell you who you can and cant marry, is this unconstitutional, ?? its definitely hard to tell, but your basic rights should be considered.

EVERYONE LOVES SOMEONE, WHETHER YOUR GAY OR LESBIAN SHOULD NOT PLAY A FACTOR IN YOUR LIFE, AND FUTURE.

In regards to the gay "rights"...

To Laura Sundberg, inparticular-- True Christians will "judge righteously", meaning that we will NOT tell someone anything MORE or LESS than what GOD says. If we say ANYTHING otherwise,then we are judging and CONDEMNING (which THAT is where God is to intervene. Maybe the following Bible verses will help you to better understand:

Gay Rights

I am not gay but I can't believe that people are being denied their rights because they are gay. SO WHAT! All these religious NUTS need to practice what they CLAIM they preach-Acceptence of others!

when i say none of this matters i mean whether you think being gay is right or wrong, the big picture here is people are being denied their rights.

i'm straight and i use to live in CA but after prop 8 was passes i wasn't proud to live in CA anymore.

Bigger issue

Why isn't anyone discussing the health factor in this dialogue? According the State of Calif., 82% of all HIV/AIDS cases are among the LGBT community. Considering the debate is settled over volition - this is a lifestyle choice and there is no gay gene, is this really what we want to 'fully' endorse and support as a society? Do we really want to teach our children this is a 'neutral' option for them when they come of age even though it increases their chances of contracting a fatal disease by 50 fold? What about the increased depression, suicide, and drug/alcohol abuse among the LGBT community? And no, it is not all the result of a lack of legitimization… consider Norway as a case study. Promoting the gay agenda is Russian roulette and yet they want to represent it as a squirt gun fight on a summer day. Wake up and stop trying to kill our children!

Gay Rights

Not even the majority of people have rights anymore! The government has taken a position of doing whatever they dam well please and all people have to abide by it... The only time that people get there rights are when they have money and power to bribe and pay for them!

As far as proposition 8 goes, if gay marriage becomes legal, what's next.. A marriage between someone and their pet????

BTW, your stupid argument about mental condition was defeated on December 15, 1973, when the American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from its official list of mental disorders, people who are professionals an obviously know better than you, doctors, many of which are heterosexual.

And if you think that men are going to stop having sex with men, INCLUDING HETEROSEXUAL MEN, then you're taking ignorance to a higher level. Your sexual orientation may be straight but your facts are certainly not.

Om being Gay...

I just briefly read what Greg and Mike had to say about being gay not being natural, well do either of them KNOW anything, personally, what it is to Be gay? How can they attempt to speak authoritively about something they have absolutely no chance of knowing what It Is they are talking about! I have met sooo many supposedly Straight people and have said that they are okay with Gays as long as they leave me alone. However, when they are alone, one on one, they drop 'trow' when they are away from their audience(friends), etc. Enough said!!!

Are we superior?

Why should we as humans have the right to tell someone who they can and cant love? its up to them ultimately, we shouldn't be stepping in and telling them that they cant be with who they want. Its not us that has to live that way, and if it disturbs you or something along those lines, turn away, don't look, because just maybe you and the person you love disgust others too.

You made the comment that Greg's views and other like him about gays is wrong. By what reference do you make this claim? Why is it wrong for him to believe that homosexuality is wrong and to disagree with it? Why is it wrong for him to not want his children, if he has any, to not be taught about same sex marriage as young a kindergarten age child? Please tell me who is that started all this continued arguemant about what is suppose to be tolerated and why I and others have to share this mindset? because if you do not share this mentality then you are labeled a bigot or hater. The problem is this, homosexuals want to be accepted as being normal, you know, like its ok for 2 men to have sex with each other, but its not. nature iteslf lends to the facy simply because 2 men cannot reproduce a child naturally. nature did not intend this to be. Now I do understand that man or woman has the ability to make decisions as to how he or she exercises thier sexual capability. What one must know and understand is that of you choose to live this way you come under scrutiny for such actions simply because it is not natural. I also fail to beieve that a person is born homosexual. I feel that homosexuality goes more to a phycological problem more than a birth problem, therefore some kind of help should given to them other than specific legal right grant to a minority. homosexuals are not a race of people and therefore should not be treated like one but they should be given help to overcome thier mental issues.
