Burris is a RACIST who put an Hispanic man in jail for a crime he didn't commit. Burris is an EGOMANIAC who erected a huge monument to himself with a list of accomplishment. Burris is a SELLOUT who, if playing the role of Jesus at the Temptation, would have sold his soul for the kingdoms of this Earth.

I worked for Senator Designate Roland Burris many years ago when he was the Illinois State Comptroller. What I came away with from the two years I spent with Mr.Burris was a profound respect for his courage, guts and uncanny ability to not only navigate the unforgiving political waters of Illinois and Cook County(When I first arrived in Chicago to head a Presidential campaign in the state I was greeted by one Ward Committeeman who told me that here we don't stab you in the back, we stab you in the front.)without a hint of scandal or impropriety but also to successfully sidestep the political divisions based at the time on race (not party)and invent himself as a cross over candidate when the City of Chicago was enduring the infamous "Council Wars."

It is particularly discouraging that the Senate Leadership is trying to deny Mr. Burris his rightful Senate seat, who, like President-Elect Obama, is a face card for a color blind electoral process. With a little encouragement and affirmation,SenatorBurris will be a credit to the Senate, to the stateof Illinois and the Democratic Caucus.

It is a shame for Illinois that Gov. Blogo is "accused" of abuse of power (we all know the details). Personally, I don't care for Blago, but the law is innocent UNTIL proven guilty. He has the right to defend himself against these charges RIGHT? He has the right to be in office until he is CONVICTED (and let's not mention he hasn't been officially charged) RIGHT? We didn't do all of this to the Alaskan senator did we?

As much as I have concern with Blago, This just shows: the AMERICAN JUSTICE SYSTEM IS A JOKE! All of these LAWYERS are behaving as though the man has been convicted. Well, on second thought, I guess he has, and that's normally how it is with us "common folk" We are basically convicted without a trial....FREE OJ! (LOL)

No matter what you feel about OJ's first trial he was was innocenct until proven guilty, yet he was guilty before he even made it to court. And I don't think it had anything to do with race, that's just American "JUSTICE" at it's best. Maybe he did it. I don't know I wasn't there, but a jury said he didn't and would have been rich and had book deals either way. In either case "THEY GOT HIM NOW"! (LOL)

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's racial. I'm just saying OUR AMERICAN JUSTICE SYSTEM IS A BIG FAT JOKE and the politics that everyone one in power is playing makes them JUST AS BAD AS BLAGO! I really wouldn't be surprised if Quinn or some other politician is behind this "sudden revelation" of Blago's "crimes". I really believe when the grits are in the pan Blago will sink a lot of battle ships right beside his, and if he does, I don't blame him! To hell with all of them! Seat Burris, give us all a break! I'm sick of this story and this cat and mouse game. It may be a darn shame but Burris appointment is legal and all these bastards who are "WASTING" tax payer $$$ darn well know it! Give some of that money to the American public who has been suffering for years from all the Political BS from the war to wallstreet! Enough already! People are loosing jobs and homes and they have nothing better than to waste money on this1 Burris record is good! Seat him and treat him like an old left shoe. He's out in 2 years anyway! I for one don't want to pay for a special election when we have to do it again in two years. Who will line their pockets off that one I wonder! I'm from Illinois and I'm sick of this BS

Burris was appointed by a Sitting Gov. who to date has not beenc onvicted of any

Crime. Burris has an unblemished record as a public servant., He was elected

to his various offices in the State and served his constituents for over 16 Years.

He certainly has a better political record than Carolyn Kennedy. Those Hypocritical

Senators should seat this Gentleman without Conditions . Their past performances

leave much to be desired. Illinois is entitled to TWO Sitting Senators .
