Could Schwarzenegger's Next Move Be to Capitol Hill?

Arnie would be a significant upgrade to the two current Senators from California. Then there is the Great Mother of All Wing-Nuts aka Nancy Pelosi, who in a very scary thought would be the President if something happened to Obama and Biden. I think I just threw up a little bit.

There may be a growing interest to modify the "natural born citizen" requirement coming from the Obama camp seeing as how he refuses to pay $10.00 and produce a certified copy of his long form birth certificate. There are now upwards of 40 lawsuits seeking to compel Obama and the Democratic Party to do something that should have been done before the election to avoid having a potentially ineligible President elect.

If Obama is found not to be a "natural born citizen" he cannot hold the office.

Arnold for Presedent

"Arnold For PRESIDENT" who has "standing" to request to see his birth certifacate. According to the supreme Court, NO ONE. So "Arnold for PRESIDENT" and who cares about the Constitution anway? Or is it when the democrat presidential elect is asked, the answer is "you do not have standing", but if Arnold run's, the Constitution is brought out and paraded around. Then the dems will have standing in court. Can the ignoant masses ever figure that the back room deals get the demoncrats and repbulicons everything and we get what is left, and that is the bill to PAY.

The governor has survived by essentially becoming a Democrat. I'm ok with California taxing it's way to destitution. It'll end up being Detroit West with the voracious public sector claiming an incresing proportion of what a dwindling private sector can produce. Add the demands of the environmentalists and I envision long lines of ox carts traversing the 101 and 405 after car makers give up trying to please a population that cannot be satisfied. Let it happen.

Arnold for senate?

Arnold will never be a senator in California !.just because he has an R in front of his name does not make him a republican,let alone a conservative republican.we consevative republicans WILL NOT vote for him.unlike the deaf,dumb and blind media,we know that schwarzenneger is the one that screwed this state.now I'm not saying he can't be a senator.just not a senator for California.

Arnold's already rich

At least we can be relatively certain that Arnold will never be caught on tape proclaiming, "I want to make money" buying and selling political favors, since he's personally already richer than most states in the union. And it's also unlikely that we'd ever heard Mrs. Arnold, Maria Shriver, piping up in the background to "f--- this" and "f--- that" in the quest for more personal money since *she* is a Kennedy. Obama and his Lady MacBeth would do well to look to Mr. and Mrs. Schwarzenegger for lessons in classy behavior (despite what the moribund and now bankrupt LA Times would spin).

Independent?

Schwarzenegger has "steered clear of controversy" and run straight into disaster by refusing to fight the Democrat-controlled Legislature's wacky schemes. This makes him an "independent"?

It reminds me of the old Cold War joke about the Soviet diplomat who complained to the US diplomat, "You Americans are always saying that we have no freedom of speech! It's a lie! In America you can stand on any street corner and shout filthy language against the President of the United States. In our country you can stand on any street corner and shout filthy language against the President of the United States."

If a RINO constantly showing the GOP the middle finger is your idea of "independence", then include me out.

If nobody in Washington pays any attention to the rule of law in regard to illegal aliens, I see no reason that the Constitution should hinder a Schwarzenegger presidency.

As long as we're opening up the borders, I see no reason why we can't have the option to elect top foreign leaders in place of the crap we have in Washington. If the politicians can bring in tens of millions of immigrants and illegals to take our jobs, they should be subject to job competition themselves.

I'm a Republican. I'd rather have a competent Democrat in office than an incompetent RINO.

Global Cooling?

The earth gets cooler and warmer. IF you figure that WE are causing most of it, you have to take into account things most people don't.

0. The solar wind is at a 50 years low, which could cause global cooling.

1. The rain forests are critical. Burning and clearing rain forests are a bigger deal re: greenhouse gases than cars. Remember the Harrison Ford ad with the tape on his chest being ripped off?

2. You have to take into account that Methane Gas, (not burned) released in to the air is much worse than burning it. Methane gas is worse than CO2 re: "greenhouse" gases.

3. You have to take into account that methane released into the atmosphere often comes from several non-man sources: Wetlands, cows belching, termites, permafrost, etc.

Most of us are willing to agree with cleaner air, water and land, that said, I am not worried about the CO2. I am worried about the cow belching and termites. :)
