Applause to Justice Dept and Inv Agencies

Simply put, the investigation and efforts put forth by the Justice Department and contributing agencies is considerably commendable. Further, I hope the tireless investigation takes out the many corrupt government officials within this great nation. This governor and his co conspirators, to include RESKO, are all a disgrace to the American people and this country as a whole. The governor’s self initiated demise is of his own doing, as that of STEVENS'. All of these criminals only have themselves to blame for their situation. As far as the arrest, I applaud the bureau for not breaking down the door to conduct the arrest and a simultaneous search warrant, as what would have happened, had it been me or you as the criminal subject.

On a side note, it amazes me how people focus on bashing law enforcement regarding the way things may be done. Why don't you bash the criminal who violated public trust while pursuing personal gain? You would think with a historically corrupt government, just as with Louisiana, the Illinois people would be happy to purge the system in lieu of defending the criminals; that is what their defense attorney’s get paid to do. It is all too easy to set back and criticize and second guess the actions of our law enforcement agencies. It really is too bad that all Americans cannot experience the law enforcement tactics employed in other countries, so as to gain a greater appreciation for the United States.

Lastly, it is notable that all are innocent until proven guilty, to include this arrogant scumbag. I anticipate that he will end of pleading out, as do many white collar criminals.

As far as the president elect, I don’t think it really matters whether he does anything wrong or not because he has become such a celebrity, the American people will tolerate pretty much anything with him. I do wish him and the incoming administration the best. My thoughts and prayers are with them for success.

Obama?

Wow, why can't this nation wake up and realize that we get the president we deserve. Face it, we voted wrong once again, just as we did in 2004. We need to stop voting main party and start looking at the people who really do care about this nation, third party people. I'm young but i'm not stupid, I serve my country in Intel so I think I know more than the average American. Obama was a mistake, it is going to be hard to get people to realize that, but in time they will.

This is a bunch of bull shoot. If everyone got arrested for complaining about critical opponents then we should all be arrested. Then to grand stand by arresting the Governor at his home is the stuff of a news hungry political climbing prosecutor. He should have been asked to surrender at a time and place convenient to the high office he holds. You subject a thug to the perp walk not the governor.

Eight years and this is all we get for the time and money spend investigating corruption. Please.

Why do we wait so long to expose someone's blatant lawbreaking? Why couldn't we have exposed him as soon as the appearnace of wrong-doing was discovered?

The governor and Harris were arrested subject to a criminal complaint not an indictment issued by a grand jury.
