George Bush / Republican Party

.

..President Bush had enough power to get the entire "republican" party to do his bidding - UNITY - the fact that it was going in the wrong direction of making the rich richer and destroying the working class had no effect on the party....

.

..Mr. Bush is JUDGED TWO WAYS - IF you benefited from him he's your hero (never mind the fact that he actions were against the people and the country).. If you were in the working class their attitude of of Tough S**T can into play -.- illegal immigrants work for less than half your pay and are endorsed by the party....

.

..If there was one wish, I would like to come true -.- It would be opening up the secrecy files Presidents Bush (BOTH) declared secret solely to cover their dirty deals....Haliburton moved its headquarters to Dubai to cover the records....

.

...IF THERE IS ONE TRUE CRIME IT IS NOT REPRESENTING THE PEOPLE, ONLY THE SELECT FEW.... Alberto Gonzales hides the facts legally - will produce any opinion you want....Scooter Libby - good soldier following orders?.? (nazi claim to fame - just following orders)....Need a favor -.- Jack Abrahoff is your man (played both sides against the middle).. Karl Rove .-.not the person behind the money but behind the swiftboat attacks (his brillant idea)...should we leave off Bill Frist who promised to tie up the senate with a meltdown if he weren't obeyed.....

...

...George Bush's My Way Or The Highway is now coming back home - the world is a circle - and another question the republicans worry about is "The War Crimes Tribunal in the Hague" TORTURE - ILLEGAL RENDITIONS -.- GITMO & Its Military Tribunails - that have been declared Un-Constitutional REPEATEDLY (if this does work try this - or this - or this - or this) One such Law was written by John McCain "declared un-0constitutional -.- "GEE" over twenty years in the SENATE unable to write a law to constitution standards (really would be a great pres?.?.? "in hell).

President Bush

Who believes our enemies do not use the internet, read US papers, and watch US TV? President Bush knows what he is doing. Too bad we haven't stood behind our elected official(s) to do what he is there to do. In time we will see he was right amidst the confusion of most of our sandbox whining about the struggles to maintain our security and national strength. Remember, the twin towers? That was the World Trade Center. Are we not in difficult economic straits? Open your eyes!

Go ahead and make my day!

Don't worry, soon Democrats will control the White House, Senate, House, and the Supreme Court. There will be no chance of filibusters and no balance of power between the 3 branches of government. See you in Russia!

lame duck

I see a lot of you are quick to blame the Presadent for the ills that we as a nation find ourselves in. But what I do not see is our own complisity in this.We are quick to blame him for all of the wrongs that have befalln the world, But what about the cheep cars we want or the no down payment homes we demanded

and the credit cards we so love? We as a socity are more to blame than our electied officals of whome we scream and rant and demand that we want it all for free and when they do as we ask,and the house of cards colapses ahh it is still some one elses fault not any of our's. Yes our congress and exsecutive branch's are corrucpt and so are both partys so when we all vote be informed about the people we willingly give power to

look past the hype and fluff and dont think what will you do for me think what will they do for us. and for God's sake help your self.

a lame duck....duh!

more like a hair on a gnat's a!!.

Please stop squeezing.

It's just Not George W. that is a lame duck, the whole Republican side of congress is now passe and just as lame duck as he is. The past week shows that the Republican Party is as lost and confused as he is. "We don't know what to do, but we don't want to do what W. asks or what the Democrats have signed up for."

It took 130 billion dollars in pork to get the Republicans to sign off on the 700 billion dollar package to nowhere. American workers just got pillaged again by the rich.

I have been waiting over 30 years for something to trickle down. Still waiting. The whole idea that giving the obscenely rich all the breaks is a bankrupt concept. The more they got, the more they took. The more they took, the harder it got for the the rest of us to believe in the American Dream. This is the root cause of our problems. The American Worker has a malaise. This is the origin of our general uncertainty and why nobody believes in Wall Street, credit or anything this government is doing.

I spend 6 months of the year working off my tax load and the rest of the year working off my credit load. There is no more blood in this turnip. Please stop squeezing.

Bush the lame duck with empty pockets

I was a republican for over 38 years. However when the moron-in-chief invaded Iraq that was the final straw. So - am I now a Democrat? No way to that either. Pelosi and Reid have been abject failures about equivalent to the Republican disaster when the Republicans achieved power. The Iraq subterfuge continued unabated because of Democratic cowardice and ineptness when they took the reins. Actually there has been little discernible difference. Frist and Delay or Reid and Pelosi - God help us.

So let's hope for a major housecleaning movement in November. God bless our Republic and save us from the corruptness embodied in current Washing DC governmental circles.

Now an Independent and as one I shall remain.

Bush's lame duck status

Comical. The Dems take over Congress in 2006 and Bush is able to continue his mindless agenda. Now he is a lame duck. The elephant in the room is the realization that the GOP could be on the brink of another 40 years in the wilderness. Now the Republicans on the Hill have no use for the babblings of Bush. Their concern is how to re-brand the party. Should Obama win, I see an obstructionist GOP practicing scorched earth tactics in hopes of hanging on to what is left of their base.

Bush=weak=idiot

He's "working hard!", again! "It's hard work, working hard, working hard at working hard!" Bawwwwwwwwwwwww! I actually flip the channel as soon as I see and hear his grating voice!

He was at the tippy top of this whole fiasco! I hope he never finds any peace for the rest of his lying days! I actually hope no state will allow him to settle when he finally gets his lying butt out of the highest office in the land which he has totally made a complete mockery! I hope all his minions that stick up for him meet the same fate! I guess he and his slimy family could move to Paraguay where war criminals and their familes can roost for enternity!

Article or opinion piece..

Well you may have a point re: article or opinion piece; however, your point that some will see Bush differntly is just dead wrong. Bush was the only sitting president in recent history who DID NOT attend his parties convention sinec LBJ. The Repubs want nothing to do with him as he has been a complete disaster.

As for the "regulation" of Fannie and Freddie....let's be clear. Yes Bush wanted to "regulate" them; however, the supposed regulation he wanted was to prevent them from going after jumbo-mortages - well actually the jumbo mortgage-backed securities. That would mean that all of the Bush friends on wall street would then have competition...Besides I have heard the same mantra since Reagan (one of the worst presidents we have had). Regulate/do away with social programs and anything to do with the New Deal and increase governemtn spending in defense..
