How funny. The Dems could not get enough of beating up on the guy when he was press secretary, and now that he is a turncoat, they can't do enough to try and make a man who had little knowledge about what was going on inside of his own place of employment into a giant with substantial knowledge.

As for Scott McClellan, I hope he finds a new home among people of the left. Of course, it'll be a matter of time before he finds a reason to betray them.

If Scott McClellen had information that illegal activities were occurring in the White house, why WHY didnt he go straight to the authorities instead of waiting to enrich himself with a book instead? Same with Richard Clark. Gee..i thought profiteering was just a Rupublican thing?

Most detractors seem to focus on his "betrayal" of Bush. If what he is saying is true, then shouldn't it be more alarming that rogue elements in our government are subverting the democratic system? Democracy depends on government officials to have oversight of one another through a system of checks and balances, and to be open to public scrutiny. Many "Bush loyalists" seem more concerned with loyalty the presidency, and even undermining the country. (You didn't hear them saying that when the Clintons were attacked and put on trial continuously for 8 years). The real question is does the White House it is acceptable to lie to the American people? And if they are caught doing so, shouldn't they be held accountable?

Why do you insist on saying that Plame was undercover.Even her neighbors new she was CIA. This was a setup from the beginning. You know better but you continue to beat the drums for these lousy liers. So your credibility continues to evaporate. Soon you will be a memory but not before you do a lot of damage to the country. Little man with no significance

His book has no specifics but rather transparent selling points of general affirmation of democratic hatred for Bush and company. McClellan who clearly presented at best a mediocrity in a national communication position, nowhere near level of those in that position before him, was pathetic to listen to and look at and sure didn't reflect good judgment by the president who trusted and befriended him and gave him a career position which he proved to listeners' and viewers' instinctual consciousness very unappealing and insignificant at. Letting McClellan go was a return to appropriate stature in the appropriate position. And now all that McClellan can deliver is a self-serving little man attempt to be significant at the expense of those who tried to elevate him. McClellan is even more pathetic now than when he was before the cameras on a regular basis. He postures himself as if he has succumbed to his partisan editors because he sees what is wrong with Washington and his book will help to end it. He may say this on a continual basis so as to keep some self-respect but it's almost delusional. However, and obviously, it is delightful for the Bush-haters who use him and his glaringly cunning little book to keep the partisan hatred alive. McClellan's knife in the back to one who showed him love is again just self-serving general theories which were all he could offer to join sides with what would make him viable in order to sell a book and think himself significant and even exact some revenge with.
