Kenneth T. Walsh

You damn McClellan for disloyalty and parrot the charges of those who dismiss him for simply being "disgruntled." You make no reference to or mention of any part of his book, the source of all the controversy. This is what too many conservatives do when they dislike the message, they pillory and imugn character. Hopefully, a change is coming. The country has had enough of this sort of behavior, Mr. Walsh.

McClellans-damning-portrait of President Bush

Scott,

I saw you on FOX news 6-1-08, and you did not impress me in the least. Tony Snow was and is twice the person you ever were or will be. You say you want to make people understand what is happeinig in the world, with President Bush as President. We'll you jerk, I want know if in the same circumstances you would have been better, since hindsight is 20 20. I doubt you would have done as well under the circumstances President Bush has been through. He has had more things happen under his watch than President Clinton, who did nothing to make things better under his watch. At least President Bush done something, even if in your small mind you have no respect for his reasons for doing things his way. Your way would have been much worse I sincerely hope you don't receive any more interviews, because you only show people how dumb you really are. Now I'm no scientist, but even I can't stand the sight of you. I still wish you the very worst that life has to offer. Get real, you jerk!!!!

Suprised?

Most intelligent Americans weren't surprised by any of this. I repeat "intelligent". What I would like to know is when do we get to prosecute these criminals? Where is Congress in all this? As far as the Republican party is concerned payback is a female dog isn't it? I used to be Republican not anymore.

Lest we forget, this whole gas price run up reminds me of the Enron machinations in the California energy scam. The CEO was a personal friend of George Bush hum... Do you think? Yeah I think.

scott mcclellan

You are one hundred percent jerk, with a capital JERK. I wish you the very worst life has to offer. May you burn in HELL, DIE IN PAIN. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISGUSTED WITH ANY REPUBLICAN IN MY LIFE. YOU ARE A LIAR, CHEAT, PROBABLY A THIEF, AND A ROTTEN INDIVIDUAL. PRESIDENT BUSH SHOULD HAVE FIRED YOU, WHEN HE FOUND OUT YOU WERE NOT DOING HIM ANY GOOD. TONY SNOW, WAS BETTER THAN YOU EVER WERE, AND I WONDERED HOW YOU KEPT THE POSITION YOU HAD, AS LONG AS YOU DID. I DISLIKE YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR, WHICH IS NOTHING. I HOPE EVERYTHING BAD HAPPENS TO YOU IN THE FUTURE, YOU COMMUNIST JERK. YOU WILL PAY IN THE FUTURE, MARK MY WORD!!!!!!!!!!! YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE TO HAVE CANCER, (not Tony Snow) MAYBE YOU DO!!!!!!! CANCER OF THE MOUTH. GOD BLESS TONY SNOW AND ALL HE STOOD FOR!!!!!!!

Carter

The basic decency of President Carter comes through here. His Press Secretary sat in on everything. Far better to run the political risks of a policy of candor than to hide it all so as to be able to manufacture history. Liars get caught and pay the price. Bush is a Pariah. Carter made mistakes in judgment but because he is honest the American people respect and admire him.

Courage won the day for Scott and the American people

It is understandable why Scott McCllelan waited so long to speak out. When so intimately involved in the greatest seat of power in the world, which has become the President's office and the White House, most will be controlled by that aura of power, importance and loyalty. Scott simply needed to be away with time to think. Then he made the right decision.

Hopefully the book will move more Americans to declare "enough is enough" and call on Congress to take back some of the powers usurped by Presidents like Bush. They can start by reviewing the War Powers Act.

McClellan's Damning Portrait

"Evil prevails when good men fail to act"

This man is a national hero. A little belated and a little sloppy, but still a hero.

Thank you Scott McClellan

If they are so bored about the topic

Why are they endlessly talking about it, using the identical talking points that Scotty and them used against Richard Clarke when he came out with his book.

"I should have known how personal it would get when they went after me, well, I mean, after what I said about you," Clarke says McClellan told him in the lobby of New York's Essex House.

"I think I can forgive you now," Clarke says he replied.

"I'd like to ask you to," McClellan reportedly answered.

The Dukes of Hazard in the White House

Think about it....

It's like watching the Dukes of Hazard in the White House - Dumb, Dumber and Stupid! The car they drive, the "General", is their war wagon. Like the series, the car (war wagon) is their total focus.

If you remove 9/11 and the war from the Bush presidency, what do you have? No domestic policy (subvert the Constitution), no foreign policy (except - kill terrorists), no economic policy (spending us into bankruptcy), and no energy policy (go oil companies). Bottom-line, we have a president who exemplifies the greatest tragedy to the intellectual(?) mind - compounding his profound ignorance with absolute arrogance! Bush is delusional, he sees himself as the "Messiah of Democracy".Tell us it "ain't" so George.

The lies and deception Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld (retired) pandered to the American citizens was a concerted effort to subvert our patriotism we felt after 9/11 into support for this unholy war. Time is the enemy of those who pretend to be whom they are not and time has run out for Bush. We have all been deceived by the Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld (retired) administration. I'm reminded of a bumper-sticker from the Vietnam War era - "war is good business, invest our children". To that end, Bush and Cheney oil-company cronies have made "record" multi-billion dollar profits from the instability "president" Bush has caused throughout the world by his unholy war and his reckless abandon of ethical morality. Cheney’s corporate connections (Halliburton) have also been awarded lucrative contracts and they have profited significantly from the war.

Thanks to insiders like Scott who will tell like it is and expose the disgraceful conduct of the Bush presidency. I look forward to the historical (accurate) analysis of the Bush presidency(?). It should be a Hoot!

Still glad he wrote it...

I'm very glad that Scott McClellan wrote his book, because without evidence defining how terrible this administration has been for the US, the same mistakes are more likely to happen again. Some people beg to move on completely without accountability or justice done for what has blackened the eyes of our country, but this is a ridiculous standing owning to laziness and ignorance. We would soon have another disaster like the last 8 years without taking a hard look at and remembering exactly what happened--the truth, and our own shortcomings within it.

Especially with the laughable and sad answers in retort to the book, I'm glad for and would stand behind this book. Thank God someone who couldn't be swiftboated so easily finally had the balls to stand up and say 'America has had enough bull'.
