Michelle Obama Won't Stump for Healthcare Reform
The first lady will focus on promoting healthful lifestyle
Even though healthcare is the top White House priority for this summer—and was the central theme of a major speech by President Obama in Chicago today—first lady Michelle Obama will tread cautiously into the healthcare policy arena. "It has never been our interest in having the first lady play a prominent or leading role in advancing our policy positions," says a White House official. What she will do is use her immense popularity to promote healthful lifestyles and to educate young people about the importance of a sound diet. To that end, Mrs. Obama will call TV cameras into the White House kitchen garden on the South Lawn tomorrow afternoon where she will urge families to grow their own vegetables and fruits wherever possible. Then she plans to bring local elementary-school students into the White House to help prepare a meal. In the next few months, Mrs. Obama will also make the case for improved healthcare but won't get into the specifics of legislation. "You are not going to see her out there on the stump," says the White House official.

Who's Garden? Who's Kitchen
I feel so sorry for you that you can't think to start a garden yourself, and learn to cook healthly to help teach students in your community how to eat healther food. Instead, all you can do is to try and tear Ms.O down. why not get off your set of do nothing and become apart of the solution, set up your own Who's Garden? Who's Kitchen and get all the credit and prop's that you wish to receive. As for as bHo and knowing their way around, it's to bad that you don't have the talent or interlect to even begin running for the Presidency, you don't have a clue you don't a personality for anyone to like. You're to negative to have many friends at all.
Good plan
Michelle once worked for a hospital. Her former career in that setting may be at odds with some of the goals that Congress and the President are trying to achieve. There is no need to introduce anything like that as a "conflict" for critics to poke at.
Inappropriate comments like "I hate liberals of NY"
Comments like these get us no where. Much more important to find and express actual actions and words from Mrs. Obama and address them. The obvious race related hatred expressed would be better used with specifics of speech or action.
I am sorry to have this family at the exalted summit of our country but so be it. Both have considerable intelligence, even if they have chosen what the rest of us consider socialism to push. I will give Mrs. O. credit for not being so in the public eye when our sentiment became obvious -- but I worry about what they can do to America in 4 years if our other elected people -- Senate and House -- don't put the brakes on with authority!! CZARS!!!!!!! Surely Obama's plans for them are unconstitutional as is forced ownership of private companies. Wake up Congress!
