War with Islam?
Anyone who believes that we are at war with Islam is simply deluded.
We cannot get past "Executive Privilege" and "state secrets privilege."
That is where the real battle should be taking place if we are to become an actual
nation of laws,, and thus a real positive influence in the world.
Let's first gain insight and accountability, and transparency in our own government and country,,, then let the armchair military find more "enemies" for us.
Extremist muslims come in about the same ratio as extremist Christians,

Get to know a few muslims. Most I have met are a lot smarter than your average Southern Baptist,, and probably much more kind.

When Nixon was out of office, he was a Pepsicorp lawyer. He went to China to sell Pepsi and get other trade concessions. One of the first signed was with Pepsicorp, I was in Singapore when other businesses were after China's markets. They included airline people seeking new charter routes. I was in Saudi Arabia in mid 1970's and saw that all foreign compound residents bought safe PepsiWater from their bottling plants. In Vietnam, softdrink bottling water was used in the process of turning poppies into heroin. See "The Pentagon Papers" exposure of the corrupt S. Nam leader Diem and his profiteering in heroin. The same corruption is described in McCoy's "The:Politics of Heroin in South East Asia," critical of that illegal war. Nixon prolonged that war, extending into Laos with its big acreage of heroin poppies. I think we're in Afghanistan and will stay there partly because of its vast poppy fields. The best reason to de-criminalize heroin is that prices would go down and and not so many guns could be traded for heroin.

The glib explanaions give our newest president more wiggle room than the heavy-handed Bush boys. I'm so glad he lied to his own constituency and failed to deliver his promise of helping us murder our unborn babies at an increased rate. I was tickled to see him propose a female Catholic for the Supreme Court...even if she happens to deem incompetent the vast majority of all the previous Supreme Court Justices for sexist and racial reasons...(Yes-most of them were old white men). I'd much rather have a racist, sexist justice than a Muslim or an abortionist.
Obama has done a wonderful job of hiding his real agenda from Jeremiah Wright and the Muslim contingent of the rainbow coalition. I was amused by how the Muslim world leaders refused to receive his superlative lip motions...heavy words that out weighed any actions. It was a real spectacle to see a US President suck up to Syria...by saying the same stupid words that Bush spoke, "We are not at war with Islam". It would have been better if he had sucked up to China (like Nixon did)and congratulated them for fighting Islamic piracy near Somalia...Is there any of the many wars going on (or "ongoing genocide)that is not funded and carried out by the "Peaceful Islamic" nations? "No! No! We are not at war with Islam!" That's almost as true as Bill Clinton's protest that he never had sex with Monica.
Perhaps President Obama is the ominous oracle for the future of the American Presidency in 2060 when the Muslim Americans will outnumber all other Americans. Maybe they will elect one of Billy Graham's great grandchildren for President...to prove Muslim tolerance of the descendants of the Great Crusader. We thought that we had an ally with the Shah of Iran...With Pakistan...with Saudi Arabia...and the list goes on. If the Truth makes you mad, go to www.prophetofdoom.com and download the Koran and compare Islam and Christianity. We have believed a lot of stupid lies about Islam.

Ah... The poor conservatives are still upset Obabma got himself elected President. Of course they are incapable of looking into the mirror and seeing themselves as the reason. Too funny! But I am counting on you guys to try to undermine everything he does, Hey, is that not what conservatives do? These Czars aren't elected or confirmed by OUR elected Congress and report ONLY to Mr Obama. Even ole Senator Byrd recognizes the fatal flaw here but the American public seem oblivious.
Meanwhile of course, GE owned MSNBC applauds every move and BLASTS ANY disenting group or individual. Notice how the latest GE commercials on Healthcare and Energy Parallel Obama's Plan for America? No favoratism for "OUR" Favorite Jr Senator?
They all but got the man ELECTED.

The media is forgiving with Obama's many flip-flops because he's a liberal democrat. Mitt Romney flip-flopped on one issue, abortion, and was relentlessly lambasted, ad nauseum, by them.

You think Fox News is unbiased? I'll be the first to admit that I may not like everything Obama is doing, but you really think he's worse than BUSH? Where were you all when Bush spent Trillions of dollars on an ungodly war and sent us spiraling into a recession and huge deficit? Where were you all when Bush created the Patriot Act to take your freedoms away? Where were you all when Bush was caught blatantly lying about the Iraq war and that it was for finding "Weapons of Mass Destruction" (I love his wording, it's very animated)... Are you all serious... And yes, we better darn well apologize to the Muslims and what we put them through... Years and years of destruction of their homelands and war that has cost thousands and thousands their lives and the lives of their family members for what reason? OIL OIL OIL!!! So, ya, they deserve an apology for crappy leadership and an ignorant uneducated people's devastating inability to do anything to stop their government...

Lovesick Media
The media is like a love-sick puppy. They are biased because they are so in love with Obama and his chisled chest and youth and his wife's fashions. He is the President, People, not our next American Idol! He gets a free pass constantly by the press. They cover for him. I am thankful though for Fox News where I can find actual news reporting. I used to watch world news, like Katie Couric. No more. I cannot stomach any of them other than Fox News. Seems that's the case with a lot of people considering that Fox's ratings are higher than both CNN and MSNBC combined! You'd think they'd get the hint that people are fed up with their fawning over Obmama and their bias and propoganda and slanted stories. But they are so full of themselves and so blinded by Obama's charm, that they just don't get it.
