downsizing to increase there cash by years end. People like me and you will fix it and god help corporate ###### if they get in the way! In the end the honest hardworking people who sleep through the night , get up and work with others will make it right! The othes will be hiding, scrabbling and wishing, but truth honestly and firm get it done no matter what, this is america as it is and always will be. X mas will see 20-22 percent unimployment and god help this land in feb march cause thewheels will start turning and we will take charge asthe pencil pusher wonder how!

BAILOUT US ?

MY OPINION: I'VE WORKED SINCE THE AGE OF 15, NOW 54. PAID MY TAXES EVERY YEAR TO BOTH THE FEDERAL GOV'T AND THE STATE WHICH KEEPS RISING EACH AND EVERY YEAR. LIKE MANY OTHERS, I'VE SAVED WHATEVER I CAN EVERY YEAR INTO MY RETIREMENT FUNDS, ONLY TO HAVE NOTHING LEFT TO RETIRE ON BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF ACCOUNTIBILITY IN OUR FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND SOME OF THEM HAVE WALKED AWAY FROM THIS BEING MULTI-MILLIONARES! WE THE PEOPLE HAVE DONE NOTHING TO DESERVE THIS, YET WE ARE THE ONES SUFFERING. WANT TO TURN THIS ECONOMY AROUND IN A HEART-BEAT? START BAILING "US" OUT. TAKE SOME OF THE BILLIONS AND DIVIDE IT AMONG EACH AND EVERY TAXPAYER SO THEY CAN PAY BILLS, BUY FOOD, CLOTHING, AND SHELTER. WE'LL SPEND IN ORDER TO TURN THIS ECONOMY AROUND !

Unemployment has been worse, much worse, so why make such a huge issue of it. And the reason the polls are showing such negative sentiment couldn't possibly have anything to do with all the negative press, could it? Seriously, lighten up a bit and look down the road beyond the next pothole. The future is much brighter than you think.

Don't say our president is a retard

You clearly meant to use "our" not "are" and the fact that you confuse these two words gives me the impression that you are not very educated in the arena of economics. Additionally, the fact that you refer to him as a retard furthers my point that your comment should be disregarded as he is clearly not retarded though you may not agree with his policies. Finally, in response to the content of your post, the TARP money is so strictly regulated that some banks don't even want the bail out money because of the regulations. How is trying to take away our rights as American citizens? The answers of the 21st century US economy will not be found in the bible but through studying economic research and trends from past recessions.

Obama has given these major companies bail out money with no supervision on how they should spend the money on purpose so they would waste it. This would alow him to prove his piont perfect that we need a stronger Central Government/Obama as KING. Unemployment is way up compared with a year ago

It is extremely irresposible for anyone to say that because the stock market shows some steady improvement over the last month that the economy is on the rebound. Tell that to the 7-8 million people that have lost jobs in the last year.
