Congress Passes Obama's $3.5 Trillion Budget Along Party Lines

The House and Senate Thursday night passed a $3.5 trillion budget blueprint tailored largely to President Obama's specifications.
While the legislation isn't binding, it sets a framework for taxing and spending discussions to take place later this year on Capitol Hill.
Republicans and some centrist Democrats in that chamber have balked at the the measure's price tag.
The House approval marked a political victory for the new President, who has spent weeks selling his massive spending plan.
The budget draft is somewhat smaller than the $3.6 trillion budget Obama originally proposed and passed the House on party lines, 233 to 196. The Senate then approved the plan, 55-43.

Let Obama Have His Budget!
The nation needs to make this budget come to lie. So what if people disagree with it. We need a budget that helps the average American. I do hope that the waste in the budget is not too bad. Young People need jobs especially in the inner-cities. God Bless America!
No check and balace
The problem right now is NO check and balance on the new policies. Not a single Republican vote to pass these measures.
This is not what the founding fathers invisioned. When we all wake up several years from now and realize we're living in the USSA, 53% of you will wonder what happened.
