employment

Those that want to can find jobs. In my view the unemployment benefits encourage the lazy and help, in themselves, to pull down the economy. They do this by keeping people away from the available jobs. It is so easy to say that "I can make more with unemployment that i can by taking the job" --- that is beneath me. We are breeding a nation of whiners.

You being out of work for OVER A YEAR speaks volumes as to your UNWILLINGNESS to work.

Pick up ANY newspaper, you'll see a HELP WANTED section.

Oh, here's an idea. JOIN THE MILITARY. You can learn a trade while serving your country. Quit taking and start giving.

BTW. I served 21 years in the Army. In case you're wondering.

I do not feel sorry for you.

In our hands

While we are in bondage to any of our economic and social circumstances it seems there is a waiting for something to happen from the government to make good on the promises...

Do what we can with what we have to aid, assist, and help those around us who need help.

When we are hoping for miracles it is good to consider who we may be a miracle for.

unemployement

I AM ON UNENPLOYEMENT FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND WORK. I AM STARTING SCHOOL ON THE 30TH OF MARCH TO LEARN A NEW TRADE BUT MY UI BENIFITS RUN OUT IN 4 WEEKS IS THE PRESIDENT GOING TO EXTEND THE UI BENIFITS FOR A LONGER PEROID OF TIME?
