Dear Sir,

I am a Sri lankan.My Daughter has studied at the american college in Sri Lanka and completed her studies up to the associate degree in Architecture.As there's no institutions can be attended to complete her degree in Sri Lanka she has applied to the University of Hauston for continue her further studies and received the 'I-20'acceptancy.Thereafter to obtain the visa she has gone to the Embassy of USA in Sri Lanka for the interview.At that time the officer has refused to grant the visa saying that she will not be back to the monther land after completing the studies.She is a very bright student.Also she is the only child of ours.I am assure that after completing the course she will be be back to her parents.It will be a great help if you kindly look in to this account and if possible inform to the USA Embassy authority in Sri Lanka to grant visa for my daughter to continue her studies.

I send President Obama a suggestion to COMBINE school home work with popular video games

like Star Wars and others to help young people who are generally addicted to video games

to do their homeworks WHILE PLAYING their favorite games at the same time !!!'

Imagine all the stress and arguments spared between parents and students if they can all

do their home work in a video game format whether as a game disk given by teachers as

homework or ONLINE thru a federal or many local school adminstration websites such as

the LAUSD in my area.

I surmised Mr. Obama is a fellow Trekkie due to an article I read in Times or Newsweek

during his campaign which revealed he told Michelle " Beam me Up.....Scotty...!!! after

a long day of speeches and campaigning......!!!

mr.presedent,please respond to my to my thoughts and prayers.the small bisness man and forfathers were the strenth of making our country so awesome. im not a smart man when it comes to books and computers as most of our hard working people are. our freedom and trying to raise our famieles with love of our GOD allows us to do so. i do believe our fathers and our god put you where you are to keep those things in order.i am asking you to answer my question from you experince and your heart.why cant you give the people who work so hard at building this country as they have, a chance to spend some of the billions of dollars to start buying AMERICAN and that would turn the money problems around in our great country. give us a chance as you gave the people who did this to us.dont you think giving the little man who pays thier taxes making under 60 thousand a year would spend it more wiseley than those that put us in this awfull spot we are in.please give the HARD WORKING PEOPLE A CHANCE,NOT THE GREEDY CORP.THAT DID THIS.IF all tax payers that made a small sume of money COULD RECIEVE UP TO 25 THOUSAND DOLLARS WITH A VERY SMALL INTREST TO PAY IT BACK THEY COULD PAY THEIR MORTGAGES AND HAVE ENOUGH TO BY AMERICAN AND TURN THE ECONOMY AROUND.i have a great amount of confadence in our people,i may not be right on the dollar figure but i no im close. please MR. Dear Mr. President,

I have a story to tell and I hope you will have the chance to read my letter. I am the mother of 2 US-citizen childeren who lived in the USA for 10 yrs. Our case with immigration was denied and we were granted voluntary departure, which we obeyed. We went back to our home country in South-America.The childeren are now 9 yrs and 13 yrs. I hope to bring them back to the USA for a better future.Right now they are going to an International school.We obeyed all the laws and have waited patiently. I hope you will give people like us a second chance to come to the USA. All we want is to work, and give our children a better life.Our heart is in the USA and not where we are right now. The children don't feel at home and neither do I.

Please give us a second chance!

OBAMA HEAR MY PLEA

MR. PRESIDENT: I WORK IN THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY WHICH HAS BEEN NEGATIVELY IMPACTED BY THE CURRENT RECESSION. ALTHOUGH OUR COMPANY HAS SCALED BACK IN ALL DEPARTMENTS AS WELL AS REDUCING EXPENSES RELATED TO OUR BUSINESS WE ARE STILL LOOKING FORWARD TO BETTER TIMES. OUR INCOMES HAVE BEEN REDUCED BY AS MUCH AS 50% AS HAS OUR OWNERS PROFITS. WE'RE WORKING MORE HOURS FOR LESS PAY AND SELLING FEVER AUTOMOBILES. I'D WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT INSTEAD OF A BAILOUT YOU CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL: A ONE YEAR EXEMPTION ON ALL PAYROLL TAXES FOR ALL BUSINESS OWNERS. THIS WOULD DIRECTLY STIMULATE ALL ASPECTS OF THE ECONOMY AND EVERYONE WOULD BENEFIT. IF NOT, OH WELL, ITS NOT LIKE I'M EXPECTING SANTA CLAUS TO HELP US OUT.

stimulus package will cover all...instead why not give everyone

the "full health benefits" we've been looking for for years...

this will cortail a lot of expenses that we have to shun simply

because insurance/meds are way too out priced...then tax anyone

who makes over $200k year or receives bonuses and expense paid

vacations for them but they are called "business trips"...bull

we all know tthat Senator Mc Cain aand his "little girl toy"

would of excused all the rich and taxed the poor again and

farthered the war in iraq and afghanistan...there's billions going over there...while we have homeless here in the USA...

on our own streets...theres police who could use that money to

better stop drugs from getting to our children and why does everyone want to continue taxing smokers...i don't hear anyone saying "tax them if they drink"/"tax em if they buy a car/home"

not like us smokers...when i strated they were $.15 a pack...

ok so i'm talking 40 some years ago but in that short of time did my salary or anyone's going up over 300%...i doubt that !!!

Staying in touch

Staying in touch with anyone outside the bubble of work and home is nearly impossible.I've lived hand to mouth for my children's sake (saving for university) for years. There's no time for socializing or checking "teh real person's scene". But that's the immigrants' story and the story of anyone who wants to give the next generation a "step up". Unfortunately America is only about money. I guess we all knew that - but some of us just feel it more than others.

A portion of that savings, carefully set aside for 20 years for my children, was invested in the stock market - yeah - I believed that someone really was watching and keeping it safe...but greed is it's own reward. But I also doubted, a chunk was in a savings account in a local Credit Union. So only some of the total is half gone.

As for Tim - it's not just African Americans who lose jobs; anyone who is different is the first to go. It's easy to pick on anyone who's different because she/he never "fits the standard" or "conforms to the proper image" or "behaves as "expected" This effect starts in grade school and follows a person wherever his/her trail leads. A person;s best choice is to find employers like him/herself..Anytime you are the only one , isolation and betrayal follows. I wonder if the African American sub-nation would be better served by owning and creating enterprises and "uplifting" their own? Create a competitive state of BEING. That seems to be what the Hispanic population is doing throughout the US Southwest...

stimulus money

President Obama is giving all the bail out money to those that don't need as much as the people that lost there jobs. Give all the tax payers that lost there jobs one million dollars to up lift them through the hard times so they don't loss everything that they worked so had for all there lives. That well stumlate the econemy. The people would pay there bills and spend, so the money would go back into the econemy. Do something before people looss everything that they own.

Thats great that the health ins. 65% went into effect but I myself didn't get any paper work to fill out for it. My employer didn't didn't see any paper work for it. Whats up with that? Let people know how to get the paper work. Well thing hopefully will get better. But Presedent Obama please help us that can't help themselves any more that lost there jobs. Thank you

I have never seen a job that lasted me 6 months out of all my dam life!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been fired 33 times in my life since I was 15, and this recession is something that a black person goes through all their lives, here in America!

All those whom complain about loosing their jobs and all that other stuff are know experiencing a black person life here in America.

I hope this recession gets worse! And I really hope that people whom practice racial profiling loose everything they have!

You can say god is finally listening to my prayers.

Till date, I have not heard a single black person complain, nor get heard about financial issues. And this has been well before the recession. White people have been spoiled!

You have been spoiled by you're own kind!

And now you're own kind are backstabbing you, by laying you off.

It is nice to see you in the same situations, which we blacks find ourselves in, here in America.

White people have always believed that they are better than blacks! And this recession, is god’s way of replacing the old with the new.

Finally this recession will roll it all back, and black people will be the only ones left with all you’re money!

White people are not the only ones with problems, and I really do not except not being able to go on vacation this year as a valid complaint!
