The Stimulus Win Gives Obama a Big Political Boost

BUSH was the biggest putz!!!

Those of you than cry foul on Obama realy should consider the gas prices of the Bush presidency.. Our entire economy is related to transportation cost due to products being unable to magicaly apear at your home.. Increased fuel cost cause increased prices everywhere on everything and forced reduced spending and sent the economy into a tail spin while Bush did nothing!!! At least Obama is making a valid effort to make change for the better. You wont wake in the morning to find everything all better, its going to take time and some support from YOU!!

Ashamed of the Democrats

All of liberal Hollywood seems to be blindly backing Mr. Obama. I may be a Democrat but I cannot support his spending spree. I don't like the way it was hurried through Congress and the Senate without the "people" having a chance to know what was in it. We are the People. This is the country of and by the People. I would have liked an opportunity to know write my representative to tell him/her what I think. I resent this attitude toward us. I am ashamed at the behavior of the Democrats in Washington and the Press toward the GOP. I am angered by the way the Press has selectively reported on major stories and slanted them in a biassed way. I've kept up on the news and have searched for more information on my own; something my fellow Democrats wont do. They choose to believe all of the hype from the left and there are no fair minded journalists out there anymore. They all put their own person feelings into a story. It seems to be the end of straight news of which I am also ashamed. This was clearly not a stimulous bill but the Democrats pet projects for their home states put into a bill that got rushed through. I believe that this Administration is going to bankrupt this country and our taxes will be so high that noone will be able to have savings or put money asside into investments. Our children will be saddled with this debt for a long time. Mr. Obama has never run a business nor has he run a state or city. He doesn't have the experience to run our country otherwise he would understand "budget". I'm quite tired of hearing him blame the previous Administration for the deficit when he has trippled it in the first three months of office. When he talked about having a bi-partisan cabinet I had to give him credit but it looks as though it was all talk. He doesn't want to hear other opinions. Perhaps that is why an apointed Republican has not stayed long. I don't appreciate that he dragged his feet for five days during the crisis in the Indian Ocean. It looked as if he wanted to negociate with the terrorist pirates. We cannot afford to look weak and I fear he will reduce military spending that is supposed to keep us safe. The "bad guys" of the world will never go away, it's best we realize that.

Our "government" of the people by the people. Not. They have shut down the CCA which would have helped many disabled people. And they bail out big business? How wrong is this. In case you don't know what CCA is. it's the community choice act.These disabled people acually chained themselves to white house gates. I haven't seen this on any news station, no pictures in the papers. Where's the media on this one?

When is a stimulus bill not a stimulus bill? When it does not do anything until after the 2010 election. The only money released besides that money to AIG executives is to the states. Everything else is going to come after the 2010 election. Yes the states can use the money to hire people to do road work. How much roadwork is there to do. I mean really you can only rebuild a bridge once. You the get laid off until the next job. You are back in the same boat. It's economics 101.

God Warns Against Debt, Interest, Insurance, Gambling and Seeking Riches

Going against God's warnings to continue the system against God's warnings is IGNORANCE of God's ways. We are going the wrong way. To continue to try to save a system going the wrong way is not wisdom. Our debt and borrowing system has created industry and businesses that have brought on all our world problems. Life is easier than we are making it.

This is an excellent time to turn to a garden paradise lifestyle by choosing trees, plants and pets that give fresh food around us. That solves our world problems as the same time; it is fair, inexpensive and sustainable through eternity, something our employment system is not. The way is prepared before us. Only destructions of many kinds are promised UNTIL we follow God's ways.

Stimulus a Failure in my eyes

I don't see this stimulus working at all. Ok the dow is doing better, but we aren't.

this presidency is going to be the ultimate "Camelot"...we have a president with a wonderful sense of humor,a 'get real' guy, i feel sure he could laugh at himself first (then, who else would even think about it) ... in a positive way...

he has two lovely children and an absolutely beautiful first lady to accompany him all the way thru this rougher time than any other time could ever be ... i thot i admired Jackie-O very much and i still do, but this first lady has all (and more) the charm than all other first ladies put together , AND a husband who loves her very much.

if he dared stray, i feel some many of us ladies outside the white house mite pounce upon him, and i seriously doubt he ever would!!!

so, take care, the O'bama family, you have a lot of us out here in the public who would go with you all the way!!!

Why caught up on Liberal and Conservative...

What has happened behind the scene at Congress and White house during Bush was hush money spending and make sure Texan's oil companies and their executives becomes money pigs..

So does this constitute a liberal or conservative? ask your self?

Any money either through conservative manner or liberal manner is WRONG period.

So Russ Limbaugh is preaching because he wants to protect this port barrel agenda on white house? protect 2% of rich people's agenda...

And what did Bush did in his lat 9 months office? nothing folks he just smiled and talk about Iraq war all the time.. What economy? what unemployment? AIG failure was happening, credit crunch.. nothing.. He did..

Now Obama is president, he is talking loud that he does not want bill with pork barrel agendas? And yet republicans and some democrats passed and gave him a bill to sign.. He did not like it , but as a final signature, he had no choice to keep goverment moving..

At least he is showing honesty to everyone and trying to remain focused.

So this liberal and conservative is nothing more than protecting segment of the population..

Obama is trying to stay even keeled....

You all need to wait and see what the man does for us poor people. He in my eyes are trying to take care of every thing that he can do to make things better for us all. It will take time for that to happen.
