I am continually amazed by people who will not allow gay people into their lives as legitimate children of this world. I believe that roughly 10 percent of the human population - and perhaps of other species as well (has anyone not remarked on the gay penguins in the Central Park Zoo?).
I am not a scholar of the Bible, but it's not the Bible that determines the obvious. I hold that it's foolish not to admit the truth: homosexuality has been observed in all races of mankind, in representatives of all faiths, and has been recorded throughout the history of all time. So, then, is that a perversion? or a natural event?
I hold that it is a natural event, giving those who are born with such a predilection certain traits that are theirs just as those who are heterosexual are blessed with their specific characteristics and traits.
I am not enthusiastic about Rick Warren's elevation to the podium to provide his blessing, for I too am not happy about the law passed in California with his endorsement that prohibits gay marriage. I would have preferred Gene Robinson - but I applaud Gene Robinson for his gracious acceptance of his role at the Lincoln Memorial on January 19, as well as his similarly gracious acceptance of Warren in his role. Robinson did not take the opportunity to polarize, but recognized the chance to share in the blessings toward a positive future.
There may always be disagreements, but let us not forget to look around us and accept the world for what it is: no real future is to be made from ignorance.

Gene Robinson is an idolater
Gene Robinson said "And the God that he's praying to is not the God that I know." Hmm so what god does he pray to. If he isn't praying to the God of the bible than he is an idolater.
What God does Robinson know?
Robinson said "And the God that he's praying to is not the God that I know." I would like to know what God he knows and obviously doesn't use the Bible. Because if he has read the Bible, inspired by the ONE AND ONLY GOD, then he would know that it is written that homosexuality is a sin.
