Always we hope for a "miracle"

I wish that word would be eliminated from our vocabulary. It is so simple-minded to call everything we don't understand or are too lazy to explore a "miracle". So we have this attractive, comparatively young, brilliant and earnest new president and we expect him to solve the complex problems, many created by the dunderhead who preceded him. The same public that put G. Bush, the outrageous, in the powerful seat, will expect Obama to correct a tragic economy, poverty everywhere, end torture and prisoner rendition and return this country to at least the elementary thoughts of living by the Constitution.

How weary I am of the religious interference and their outrageous influence. There is no Santa Claus in the sky nor can Obama fix this almost destroyed country quickly. I have high hopes for him but I do wish he had not picked that radical idiot for a prayer at the inauguration.

Jesus Christ!!!

Judging from the flap over Rev. Warren's giving the invocation, I am convinced that until such time Jesus Christ returns for another cruxifiction televised with CNN, Fox News, MSNBC with sponsorship from MicroSoft, AT&T, Sprint, etc... and a gay parade led by cancer victims, tree huggers and transvestites eating yogurt from biodegradable containers made by companies lawyered up by the save the whales foundation, America simply will have no peace at all!!! What America truly needs is a new "I Am Offended" corporation to cover everything from racial discrimination, Gay rights, atheists, sex starved politicians, people burned with hot coffee, blondes, people needing face replacements, abortion foes, abortion advocates, short people, etc... in short, there is a reason why Jesus Christ is both a savior and an offensive term expressing frustration or dismay!!! When our world is offended by who will utter a prayer during an inaugeration of our President, then we should all move to Baghdad and join in the IED festivities because America is no longer fit to live...
