Some of these commentators mentioned belief in the nonexistent Devil, said "We are all children of God," and used the word "Sodomite" as if sexual intercourse should be denied to homosexuals. I believe that a homosexual couple will love one another even if both were in artificial lungs all their lives after they fell in love, and never touch one another after that. The proposed justice isn't male like the majority of the court, who can never become pregnant. A man can read about pregnancy and how it causes nausea, heartburn, varicose veins, stretch marks, piles, swollen and aching breasts, loss of balance, insomnia, etc., but it never can happen to him, There is a phrase about pregnancy "putting a girl in trouble." We should expect all the judges to make rulings that show they all understand why man and women must never be forced to be parents.

Just Wondering

In times of political correctness, or as I like to call it WASP censorship. It seems that if a minority makes a comment on the evil white man that it is not considered racist but a joke or a observation. Look at comedians like Spike Lee and Chris Rock. They make their living yelling about "the white man". Now call me stupid but her words she chose didn't show good judgment in a time when all must be mindful of there words especially people with great responsibility or in the media. Now my second part of my rant is that she DID belong to an organization that discriminated against men. That in itself is law in the supreme court that screams not qualified. Other judge hopefuls where turned down in the past because of it. Now she suddenly quits her little woman's power trip club because she is wanting a job that will involve the aspects of everyone's lives. My last thought is why was she turned down the last time she was chosen? Why is she all the sudden the right person to sit on the supreme court now. Is it because of the historic first theme we are seeing lately from the white house? No I am not a hate bigot or a hatemonger. I am for immigrants so long as they do it legally. I don't care what color your skin is so long as you are a good person. I have seen a lot of very qualified majorities lose jobs to not so qualified minorities because of job quotas and so forth.

An Excellent Choice

I believe that the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the highest court of the land by President Obama was the best desition at this moment. I also believe that a woman of humble origins who has risen to the top of her profession, is exactly what our country needs to difersify the Supreme Court. I also believe that as a Puerto Rican I am personally insulted by various racist & bigoted comments from political commentators affiliated with the Republican Party. The Republican Party has a long and well established reputation as anti-immigrant and anti-minority. However, I never expected that the party that lost the past national elections would try to commit political suicide by being so obviously biased in their public comments about the first superbly qualified Latina to be ever nominated to the Supreme Court. Let me warn the Republican Party that if they persist in their quest to kill this nomination, they will never again can count on the support of the hispanic vote in national elections. In fact, they can count on the Democratic Party reminding hispanic voters of this particular offense, constantly!

Good Lesson!

As a Puerto Rican I feel very proud of judge Sotomayor nomination. My bias tell ME she will do a tremendous job and balance the point of view from a Latino perspective absent in the Supreme Court. It is funny read the comments mounted over politico point of view about racism, because all of US have to live with statistics about tendencies of races in US. In my opinion US is obsess about the statistic with races but those are others 23 dollars. All my life the statistics tell how back are the Latinos in different social issues like education, economic, and others tendency that put us down to show me the results of social inequities. I never though that a races comment maybe because at time I believe in the supremacy of others. Good lesson Senator!

I was hoping that Justice for all in the respect that we should be objective in the ways we judge one another,how we interact with one another and what we say about one another.Lets move beyond our biases and stop being hateful of each other.It only breeds contempt,stress, high blood pressure, ulcers,indigestion,sleeplessness, premature aging and many times premature death. Above all,it strip us of the love,the beauty and unfulling

experiences and blessings of getting to know the other person.Judge Sonia Sotomayor is not a RACIST.She is a fine woman who believes in JUSTICE FOR ALL.I have heard blacks,whites, hispanics,indians,republicans,democrats,men and women,gays,straights,muslims,christians, prasing this woman for her impecable character,not at least mentioning her wealth of knowledge and experience she will bring to serve the American peolpe.let us not allow the DEVIL to distort our view of her..WE are all Children od GOD.Every one of us.We are all special and love by GOD who created us.Lets move forward and extent that love to Sonia and give her that opportunity again to bring JUSTICE for all.I can assure you all it will be the best decision you ever made. You gave President Bush that respect in supporting him before in elevating Sonia,so join Present Obama too to cap the elevation.It will be a blessings for all.Have faith in GOD and trust that she will do the right thing.God bless America and peace to us all in the WORLD.

I ask this supposedly educated writer what is SotoMayor's Race?Is Hispanic a Race ? No it is not. I am answering my own question because the writer has no clue.Hispanic is an ethnic term to denote one's descent. As for the writer, by taking into account her possibly Italian last time , one might assume that she is of Italian descent, another ethnic group of which many exist in the USA, such as Germans, French Russian, Arabic,Finnish,Dutch, etc,etc...All of these groups are of the Caucasian Race ( " White " )for the ignorant masses and the ignorant writers. There is no such things as a Hispanic race,A large majority of hispanics are Caucasian, so is your worst nightmare, the Arabics are also Caucasian. Sotomayor has made at least one remark that, had the shoe been on the other foot, would have gotten any white male politician (with the possible exception of venerable Democrat Robert Byrd, former Klan member) excoriated. Responding to the notion that a wise old man and wise old woman should reach the same conclusions, she said "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life." Who is she to think her experiences make her judgment superior to anyone? This comment is, by definition, racist:
