The Afghanistan War will probably come to include the Pakistan War someday. Indeed, it's already here if you count the incursion bombing by our predator drones in that country. There is no progress to be had in stabilizing Afghanistan while the Taliban have moved to Pakistan---where they were just GIVEN control of the Swat Valley.
There is no effective negotiation to be had with these Taliban people. If they love Sharia Law (as they do), then they HATE everything about the West. They will have to be defeated as surely as defeat was required to diminish the Ku Klux Klan.
Not much difference, you know.

Americans themselves responsible!
Its extremely disappointing to see that the American citizens have no knowledge about history of their OWN government's 'Double Standards'. During the Afghan War, the Americans and CIA CREATED the Taliban! They funded and armed all these very SAME people and trained them. They were all CREATED, FUNDED, TRAINED, CONGRATULATED and then DUMPED by the American government.
After being dumped and left to fight on their own, they all now target American occupation. So all of a sudden, they're all the enemies now thanks to Bush's own plans. Why should Pakistan help the Americans now? Let them fight their own war. Why beg for help from Pakistan? Where's the world's strongest military? Wheres all the high-tech weaponry?
Without Pakistan and its professional soldiers, Americans wont even survive for one week in Afghanistan alone! History has proven.

Pakistan has been playing a double-game with us for a long time. Their intelligence is in cahoots with the Islamic terrorists. In fact, most of the Islamic terrorists have been created and nurtured by their military and intelligence services. What they are doing is to perpetuate the terror bogey to keep American money rolling. The only language that the Pakistanis understand is one of force. Recall Colin Powel's call to tell them "either you are with us or against us. We will bomb you to dust if you don't cooperate". That worked like magic!

United States has been appeasing Pak for several decades with NO benefits in return, instead Pak has learn't to use its terror spawning machine to terrorize the world.I hope at least this time U S draws lesson from past deceptions of Pak. World should increase the cost on Pak's continued deception and only way it can be straightned along with IAEA taking full possesion of Pak nuclear assets.
