I remember he also gave George Tenet the congressional medal of freedom. I do not like this "They kept us safe", bit. Where where they before 9/11? Before the Iraq war? Bush was there.

No other Terrorist attacks in the US speaks on how well these men did their jobs. They were the men for job. At a time when we needed men such as these.

This is the administration of doublespeak. Freedom medals for reducing our freedoms, and now security medals awarded for advocating practices that made us less secure. Keep repeating a lie long enough until people believe it.
