DHS Chief Says Illegal Immigration Has Dropped Amid Heightened Border Security

It is true that we need to fence the USA from illegal aliens from the borders. There are a lot of drug dealers from them and crime offenders like the blacks as most from poverty groups. Protect the quiet and hard working Americans from the abuse of any illegal aliens and Americans who are destroying the country.

Protect the jobs for the American first. But not only illegal aliens are bad there are local Americans that are criminals too. But by protecting the borders will help DHS control what is already in the county.

CHIRLA, SEIU, MALDEF, churches and other groups have lobbied to reward people who've violated our 'Title 8, Section 1325 of our C.F.R. (Entry by an illegal alien)'. There are lots of programs and laws that any person wishing to migrate into the U.S. legally, may petition for and if they qualify, they may be rewarded with either a visa to work legally in the U.S. or with legal residenship. Most choose to ignore our laws simply because (it's easier and convenient) or because they already have a sponsor (close relative, former neighbor or friend) living in the U.S. 'illegally' who is willing to ante the funds to assist with the illegal introduction of this person(s) into our country foregoing any and all laws.

The Mexican government have instilled into their constituents' minds that these lands were at one time THEIRS and that the United States stole them from them. They ignore the fact that the United States paid millions of dollars for these lands and they agreed to sell them. So, they think they're coming to re-conquer and take back what was once theirs. As far as it's been known, these lands had no borders and the Spanish were here first, then came the Mexicans; the Spanish withdrew and the Mexicans stayed and had no contact with their central government. They were ignored by their corrupt and inept goverment since the beginning. In comes the frontier period. We kicked butts, won and paid for these lands. These lands are ours, end of discussion.

One only has to look at the Los Angeles Police Department's Most Wanted and soon will conclude that the majority if not all of the Most Wanted are of hispanic descent and all are suspected of being 'illegal aliens', are still in the area or have fled the country evading apprehension or moved out of the state. Is this what we want in our communities?

Text books and their (hispanic) media tells us that there are 12 millions of them. There are MORE!

My neighborhood used to be quiet. Little by little houses have been rented out to 'illegal aliens' because they have the money and the guts to live 10 to 15 in a three bedroom home, turning our neighborhood into a trash dump almost overnight. Early Saturday or Sunday mornings one is disturbed by their women selling tamales, gold or even Avon items. We no longer enjoy our peace and quiet. Do we have to adapt to these people's mode of living or do they have to adjust to ours (respecting privacy, local ordinances, etc.).

Some might have the best intentions, but the majority don't. They bring gang activity, drugs, and additional members of their older communities and soon we're all infested with crime. Our police departments are overwhelmed and can't handle these people because they (illegals) have the support of the above groups who have filed injuctions against the local police departments. If our country is made up of laws, how come they can't respect our established ones? They want laws convenient only to them. I'll say ship them out!!!!!

This Man Needs to Be Committed Along With Bush

Is this propaganda being swallowed by any American at this point. As a former 45 year Arizona resident, you would have to have agents linked arm and arm across that expanse of desert to have any significant impact on the flow, that is why the needed fencing and physical deterrant is vital to both our national security, and to stop the influx of these illegals and the border hoppers. This man is a joke, and another federal bureaucrat without a clue.

20 milion of uneducated, unskilled, unhealthy "guests" will only send our United States to a third world country club. Did I mention there are many criminals among them? We have enough of our own high school drop outs to fill the positions for uneducated and unskilled. They come here because they demand it to be so. LAST TIME I CHECKED TO LIVE HERE IS NOT A RIGHT BUT A PRIVELADGE. THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO THEIR COUNTRIES, APPLY AND WAIT LIKE GOOD HONEST AND LAW OBSERVING PEOPLE. IF THEY BREACH OUR LAWS BY COMING HERE, WHAT IS STOPPING THEM FROM BREACHING AND BRAKING MORE OF OUR LAWS?

The same folks that allowed 10~20 million more illegals since 9-11 are the same one's saying they "fixed it". Oh, they fixed it real good, enough for them to tell us we need to legalize the 20~38 million illegals already here. That's so in 20 years they can come back and ask for another amnesty for another 20~40 million. Add to that family re-unifactaion laws and look for another 80~120 million more uneducated foreign peasants roaming our towns and cities.

Oh, they fixed it REAL GOOD.

Heightened Border Security

I guess this is good...NOW... let's get the 12-20 million ILLEGAL ALIENS out of this Country and make sure they don't come back!

I can't say the ILLEGAL ALIENS are completely to blame for the shape of our economy, but they are a BIG part of the problem. The ILLEGAL ALIENS send BILLIONS upon BILLIONS out of this Country every year, money we will NEVER see again. Does this help our economy? How about the BILLIONS the American taxpayers fork out for the ANCHOR BABIES, the schooling of them, the medical care and the list goes on. How about the MILLIONS upon MILLIONS paid to jail them for the crimes, then the cost to deport them. Does this help our economy?

I believe it is time for all 50 States to pass a State law, like Arizona, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina and a few others. It is time for these ILLEGAL ALIENS to go back to their home Country and get out of this Country. The problems they are causing will not go away until the ILLEGAL ALIENS are out of here. I think that is plain to see.

Border Security

Overpopulation, congestion, urban sprawl, crumbling infrastructure, diminishing resources, vanishing farm land and green space, overcrowded schools and emergency rooms, crime, pollution, depressed wages, increased tax burdens, the balkanization of our communities, the marginalization of American workers, taxpayers and voters, the overall decline in quality of life, are all the result of unconstrained immigration! Too many people competing for the same limited resources has NEVER been sound economic, environmental, social or cultural policy. Indeed, arguments against a border fence are a threat to our nation. While a border fence has never been offered as a "whole" solution, it has proven effective in delaying and reducing the massive inflows of previous decades. If nothing else, a border fence will provide controllable "choke" points along our borders and ports that would prevent and moderate the disasterous refugee crisis we see taking place in other countries. The recent dust-up between Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecudor should prove instructional as to how quickly economic or civil unrest in one nation can devolve into chaos for it's neighbors.

In the southwest we've experienced shortages of water for decades. Politicians focus on "buying voters" instead of protecting and serving the interests of America's Citizens. Indeed, with the Obama administration asserting "green" jobs and alternate energy as the way forward, I find it hard to reconcile their jobs and energy policies with their immigration policies. We're already experiencing water shortages, and more recently concerns over food safety and availability in our country. All of the alternative energy technologies we're considering, require vast amounts of land and water if they are to be viable, sustainable, and affordable. Wind, solar, hydro, geo-thermal, bio-fuels all require lots of real estate and water. Nuclear energy is also dependent to some extent on the availability and proximity of affordable real estate and water. Real estate and water that are increasingly over priced and unavailable thanks to overpopulation and urban sprawl resulting from unconstrained immigration. Investors and consumers won't see much benefit from replacing petroleum with alternative resources that are less convenient and even more expensive. Virtually every industrialized nation has adopted zero tolerance policies for illegal aliensm China, Mexico, Great Britain, the European Union, all have zero tolerance policies. Further, these same countries have adopted policies curtailing legal immigration to only that which is prudent, demonstrably necessary, and above all other concerns, in the best interests of their native population. It's dangerously misguided to suggest that the United States not do likewise.

There is no problem confronting U.S. taxpayers and citizens that would not be measurably improved by securing our borders, and enforcing our immigration laws!

Protect America

E-verify does not discriminate against RACE, Religion, SEX or physically capability only your Citizenship and your LEGAL right to be and work in United States.

If we can stop Predatory business owners from hiring then the Illegal Aliens will not Stay and return to their native Countries.

This ISSUE is not about RACE, but Governments Federal/State/LOCAL not doing their jobs, because big and small business owners want cheap workers and no labor laws to bother with. Its called GREED!

The only RACISTS are the single RACE agenda GROUPS like La RAZA, Mecha, Aztlan and ETC....Whose main goal is take our Western States back to Mexico.
