20 year EPA employee outside the beltway

Having worked through 12 yrs of Republican and 8 yrs of Democrat Admininstrations, thankfully in the field and not DC, I am always amazed how the press accepts the enviros account of the demon Repubs and the "grounded in science" approach of the Dems.

Environmental regulation is about balancing costs and benefits, and it will continue even under "The One.". BTW, Al Gore was among the most least principaled defenders of EPA, backing down on his campaign pledges once he got in office.

What has been one of the causes of this Economy?

The tree huggin Environmental Groups.

Can't drill anywhere there is oil

Can't cut down a tree

Can't go in this area because of some squirrel or owl

Can't use this material because it's bad for the ozone

Can't drive cars because of Global warming

Every project has had a hugh increase in cost and delays due to the Environmental Groups and the Environmental impact studies.

What a bunch of self-righteous hypovrites out to save the world even though they have very little facts on their side.

How warm was October 2008? That's why they stop using the term "Golobal Warming" and now use Climate change. The fact just don't support their airheaded ideas.

I hope the EPA is the first department Obama cuts.
