vote nooooooooo on 8

this is totally arrogance ,descrimination, bigotry !!!!How could you know if your offspring is one of them ,you should never desprive your brothers' or sisters' rights to persue a happy life??

Nobody has the right to ban others' happiness!!!

Who's next

If YOU don't respect YOUR marriage it doesn't matter one speck what the rest of the world is doing.

Gay marriage does not endanger marriage as much as heterosexual divorce and infidelity.

Any fidelity is sacred, why not allow it to florish.

Who's next?

People who sleep in different beds?

Non-christians?

Who are we kidding, this is just arrogance and bigotry and ignorance, that just encourages a process of future exclusion for some other thing for some other people.

Very sad that Christ's love is so ruined by prejudice.

Too Late

As a protector of the sensibilities of my children to have the general society as a witness of integrity and stability, the confusion displayed by the blurred gender roles is something I do not want my children to have to process. But, my choice is thwarted by others who believe chasing personal whims out distances a common moderation of behavior standards.

It's all circling the drain...

God is not Mocked

and search for “focus.” Ponder the blatant hypocrisy you find there, also the lies and half-truths spread as advertisements by Yes on 8 and, yes, the $60M spent by both sides, $ that could have benefited “the least of these…” These errors will stand in the way of the spread of the Gospel for years to come. God is not mocked; lying is an abomination to him, Proverbs 6:16-19; it will certainly be revealed, Luke 12:3.

Be careful that you have not decided God’s will on His behalf. His wisdom exceeds yours. In His wisdom He sent Jesus to teach us, “love your neighbor” and that it is the “sum of the Law and the Prophets.” Learn to know your neighbor before you despise him or her. Do not decide in advance to spend eternity in hell because you cannot share a Heaven into which God has welcomed gays and lesbians.

Vote No on 8.

A No Vote on Prop 8 will be an attack on all religions and churches

As soon as this becomes law, by voting no on 8. You will see all the gay advocate groups and there team of well paid lawyers taking on the church for there beliefs. Say yes on 8 and do away with these groups that are haters of anyone that does not think like them. Shame on you

For those who rally to vote "yes" on prop 8 -- shame on you.

This is America.

Americans fight together to assure freedom for all Americans.

No one has the right to impose their religious beliefs on all others.

Period.

TO Boad Swanson

Dear Boad,

Perhaps you'd do better preaching your desire for tolerence to the folk that beat, maim, and kill gay persons. Or to the school students that taunt a gay classmate until that child is driven to suicide. Parents that deny their own child because they have been taught by people like you that being gay is an evil. While I never think hatred is justified, that is exactly what you are teaching with a smile. Your position is anything but "reasonable". You are denying families equal rights. Denying committed oouples the same rights and priviledges that you and your spouse have. Why is it your business to determine who other persons can or cannot marry? How can you possibly say that is "reasonable"?

Marriage is about love. We need more love and more commitment in this world, not less.

Vote NO to Prop 8. Vote No to Discrimiation. THAT is tolerence.

California too democratic

California should have done as Massachusetts and contrived to eliminate any possibility of voting citizens resolving the isssue. They nipped it in the bud, to use a stale expresssion. Those who know what is best for us should stifle ignorant and phobic majoritarians before they, the majoritarians, do something sometime someplace somebody may not like.
