The Dixiecrats...

I think more than a few here need a history lesson. Yes, the "Dixiecrats" were responsible for the Jim Crow laws. However, after LBJ signed the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1965, they left the party, led by Strom Thurmond, and became what we now know as the Rednecklicans. Nixon openly courted the racist vote in 1968, won the South, and more than that, pretty much moved the racist vote permanently to the Republican Party.

This is why the Republicans still win the South, and why the old tactics of the Dixiecrats still live on, but working for the Republicans since the late 60's.

Jim Crow and Old Abe

As a previous comment pointed out, the Jim Crow laws were a product of democrats in the south. As is widely and proudly proclaimed, Abe Lincoln was a Republican.

It is clear that there has been a reversal of roles in America. The GOP has taken the mantle of the racist vote denier. Abe Lincoln would clearly now be a democrat and would quickly disavow any connection with the policies of the republicans.

Fact Check on Jim Crow for Al of AZ

You know nothing about history. Before you comment again, please read up on the Jim Crow laws and you will see that they are entirely a product of Southern Democrats.

This make upset your assumptions about the "evil" Republican party, but it is so. Perhpas after you get that squared away, you begin to research the bogus claim of the "stolen elections."

Voter Fraud

If one registers to vote using an address, and mail to them at that address is returned undeliverable in the two weeks or so it takes for your voter card to be processed, it seems you didn't really live there.

Please - protect your vote

If the Post Office returns a voter registration card to the Board of Elections because it is "undeliverable," it means that the addressee NO LONGER LIVES AT THAT ADDRESS.

In order to be issued a driver's license in a particular state, YOU HAVE TO BE A LEGITIMATE RESIDENCE in that state.

Therefore, if Michigan is purging its rolls of people for whom (1) the Post Office has returned the undeliverable voter registration card and (2) those who now appear with a dirver's license from another state, YOUR VOTING RIGHTS ARE BEING PROTECTED.

What part of one citizen, one LEGITIMATE vote do you not understand?

Shades of 2004 in Ohio

So, 1950's and 60's Jim Crow Rascism, cloaked in sheep's clothing by the GOP (who else) rears it's ugly head once again in Michigan like it did in Ohio when the dishonorable Ken Blackwell (coincidentially a GOP Secty of State) ran his purge campaign. WAKE UP PEOPLE. One of your most precious rights -- the right to vote -- is being plundered once again. The Republicans sense a way to steal the election on Michigan like they did in Ohio in 2004. Don't let it happen there -- or else your state will be NEXT.

And explain how a college student voting at the location of their school equates to ballot stuffing? Please explain that in a bit more detail.
